I think I have mentioned this before, but I'm saying it again: Spiral knights needs a spectator option for those delving into the clockworks.

Reasons:
-It's fun
-It would give more opportunities to host player run events
-It allows people to maybe observe how certain equipment can be used while in the clockworks

People spectating wouldn't necessarily be able to message the person they are watching, and someone can decide whether they wan't the option of being spectated. you would type in "/spectate insertknightname" or when you click find party, next to where it says "join party", ther would be a button that says "spectate"

Peace out!

I like it.

We've had suggestions for this in the past, and it's still a good suggestion. When players die they already can enter a "spectator" mode, so it would be nice if we could have that in more parties.

Two ways to go about this:

  1. Have an option when creating a party, similar to difficulty settings, that shows spectator mode.
  2. This can have options such as "public, private, none". These options are party-wide.

  3. Have a personal option, such as the "full inspect" dropdown, that allows players to spectate you in the clockworks.
  4. This means players can spectate each other no matter where they are (public or private parties), but only if they are allowed to. A similar "public, private, none" works here.

Either way works for what it is, and either one is perfectly fine by me.

agreed!

Still a great suggestion and would love to have that option. I don't see any reason to not have this. I think having the option for the player being spectated to hear clap or cheer would not be bad either. Like having an audience clap or cheer in the background lol. Like your the show were watching.

I agree to it

It's so fun to watch or and see how new levels alike and how difficult can be. I hope there is an option to save your Replay files where how your previous performance did so far and you sometimes want to remake those that would be an Incredible option to do so.

What would be soo cool that you can actually fast forward or Rewind the speed to your Replay files and having to Spectate other players and Free to move your Camera.
