Who thinks so? Or am I the only xD?

Mecha-Alex

Am I alone in thinking that the game became a little repetitive theme leveling weapons and other things?

I would have played the beta when there were no Shining Crystals and the weapons increased level automatically.
Sure someone will say, "If there were such a change, everyone would be Vanguard with every item at level 10".
I think with every update there are fewer people playing, and it becomes tedious to repeat the same task 50 times to get shinings.
(I spend all day in the metropolis getting rotten shinings for a damn Ascended Calibur).

I think many people would like that they should take the issue of crystals and such, as in the beta (or so I've seen many posts)
And if I'm wrong, tell me.

PS: I would like you were adding a couple of things in mind people who have no credit card and put it back more cooperative, for example coworkers revive you with their life (They lose half life). And pls read the spanish forums.

Bye bye.

Sorry by my bad english.

The original post in spanish is in the spanish forum.

...

Do you realize that before certain updates in the past few years, we had to:

Pay energy fees on elevators
Pay energy fees to start in Moorcroft Manor or Emberlight in the Arcade (uggggh)
Get all recipes from Basil or the Auction House instead of having the convenient Hall of Heroes
Pay raw energy for crafting instead of using Orbs of Alchemy, which can drop from prize boxes, be rewarded from missions, or be bought unlike energy
Pay raw energy to revive instead of having Sparks of Life, which, again, can drop from prize boxes
Also, we didn't have Rank missions, which help new players get accustomed to the game and added a very interesting storyline

I understand it when people get angry over the Forge and Radiant Fire Crystals being so hard to find, and getting Orbs of Alchemy can be frustrating, but to say that the game is even more tedious than before is just completely wrong, and it drives me up a wall when people say that things were better before, when they clearly weren't. Have you noticed that OOO has made a visible effort to make it so you can now get through most of the game without paying real funds? No, instead you have to complain about Shining Fire Crystals, which are incredibly easy to find in Tier 3; after just one Vanaduke run I had about 50-70 of them in my inventory!

And no, more people do not leave with every update. The three biggest problems with Spiral Knights right now are that a) there isn't enough worthwhile endgame content to retain Vanguards, and what happens is that every time there's a new event or an update, people log in and play actively for about a month, then things go quiet again, b) updates are so slow; the Gunner Update was announced about a year before it came out, and they still haven't even added half of the stuff that was teased in that In-Development Preview from almost two years ago, and c) they seem pretty reluctant to fix problems with the game that have existed for years now. THOSE are complaints I can totally agree with.

I don't care if you're grateful or not for the updates that OOO has released in the past couple of years, but don't go and say that they've made things worse.

well

You're asking whether you're the only person who finds grinding for fire crystals tedious? Well, there have been hundreds of threads about it, so the answer is no.

That said, most of those threads are about 5-star fire crystals, which are dramatically harder to get than 4-star fire crystals. Um, this is good and bad news for you.

Try playing a lot of Stratum 6. Then, like me, you'll be drowning in 4-star fire crystals.

By the way, fire crystals were introduced long after the game launched (2011-04-04 vs. 2013-07-30).

Err...

Yeah... It sounds like you're someone who hates grinding yet here you are in an MMO...

Leveling your weapon is repetitive. How you choose to level it (arcade, FSC, a single mission) is your choice, and will make the experience more or less fun.
