Yes. Hello. You've opened this thread, wondering what my idea is. And here it is.
We have four bosses representing each certain types. We have the Snarbolax representing wolvers, we have The Sovereign Slime representing jellies, we have The Roarmulous twins representing gun puppies, and we have Vanduke which I'm not sure what he represents.
Apart from the three valid family bosses, we should have a boss for EVERY monster type, and spring them up as an extra mission set not occuring after vanguard, but during the story, replacing certain rank missions. Here are my ideas for each of these:

Chromalisk: Three headed chromalisk that stalks a party through an entire, long level shaped like a ring. There are five bells in this ring and the only way to damage the chroma lisk is to lure them to the bells. The bells have a one minute cooldown so movement is necessary.

Dust Bunny: Giant ball of fluff that attacks by secreting smaller dust bunnies, in vicous hordes and giant numbers of up to 75.

Battlepod: Battlepod is more vertical and is sorrounded by spikes. Moves along a path in a grid making it adaptable and extra tricky.

Collector: Collector reconstructed with the shiloutte of vanaduke, grabs battle sprites and uses battle sprite attacks against you if you're not careful.

Lumber: Put a giant lumber on three wheels, with two arms that constitute two wheels and one wheel leg. Skids around and slides to and fro the map and runs people ove with stability.

Mecha Knight: Doppelganger knight, can assume the identity of a random knight and make you turn into a mecha knight yourself. It will stalk and attack you, and hunts you down. After 30 seconds the identities are switched back.

SCUTTLEBOSS can split apart into two different shufflebots and attack as two powerful bots, or combine into one slow but nigh invincible SCUTTLEBOSS.

decide if you want shuffleboss

Devilite boss. I'm not offering an idea here, there's a thread but I didn't check it out.

Gorgo: Okay, I got nothing here. Other than this: Giant, immobile gorgo that can spew up random enemies at will, and uses a tongue tentacle to try and consume knights, and then vomiting them out.

Greaver:

Silkwing: Now this is interesting. Giant silkwing with two metal diving suit men rendered invincible by the silkie's healing and are immune to poison. They operate like trojans and the goal is to lure silkie to traps, making it roost, and then getting the metal men to wound silkie by accident.

Gremlins in general: Metalfur, an insane gremlin architect that resides in a giant battlesuit and has trojan like attack patterns, and can twirl around it's torso to fight anyone attacking him. To tell the truth, we already have Seerus the DLBOSS

That's all my ideas so far, you can fill it in yourself.
Discuss.

Skimmed it, looks pretty

Skimmed it, looks pretty cool

As long as it's
1) T3/provides comparable crown payout to vanaduke
2) provides sufficient radiants
3) Is a legit challenge and can't be ohko'ed by autogun/magnus/brandish

Then we have so.ething worth thinking about. My two favorite ideas you have are the mecha knight switching places (you'd want to equip proto for that fight), and the robocop/terminator lumber boss. That would be rather epic.

hmm,

@op:

Chromalisk:

seems okay, though this one boss should have 3 heads emiting 3 different kinds of status such as freeze, fire and shock.

Dust Bunny:

As long as it summons any kind of variation of bunny and itself is a cursed dust bunny with a massive bite.

Battlepod:

We already have one, though i have to say it's a lack luster boss. So beefing that one up seems like the nest strategy sense one already exist. though creating alternates is always welcomed.

Collector:

Can't say i'm for it.

Lumber:

A lumber truck with a huge mechanical arm and tiny mounted turrets would be a cool as a moving fortress monster. Would love to face it on the open road!

Mecha Knight:

Not for it. i do have an idea though. Here you go: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/72669

 14A) Shock construct mini-boss:
Omega knight
Battlepod
Mechromencer
Surgebot

Check it our if your interested.

Devilite boss:

Your right, there is a thread out there made for the devilite boss. It's pretty interesting. You should read it.

Gorgo:

L:ol, that tongue sounds hentai, anyway....ahem i think having a gorgo with a fat beer belly that vomits acid (can be any status) and tries to suck you in with a vacuum for a mouth, and has a stare that literally freezes a knight in place if not shielded against would be cool. Though, that eye of his should also be its weakness and those small little wings.

Greaver:

I remmeber reading a boss or an armor gear created from the greaver. Would be cool as a boss.

Silkwing:

I'm not seeing it, the same way i can't see a mender as a boss. Though that doesn;t mean it can;t exist.

Gremlins in general:

Your right, one does exist, though i think having all sorts of crazy gremlin scientist would be cool as bosses. Like a gremlin controlling a tittanic robotic suit that does all sort of crazy stuff. I have something created for it somewhere: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/61447#comment-456088

There it is " A gremlin MAD scientist", Something where the boss is not actually the gremlin, yet the gremlin did give life to this crazy experiment.

Love your ideas, keep them coming.

Oh and

You forgot about shuffleboss, the entire mecha knight thing would be a black hole bomb that sucks in everything, scrambles evrybody's identity in an explosion and promotes chaos.

This will help with the idea for the wheeled lumber.

Hmm...

@Fight-Beetle:

I'm not really into a shuffle boss, but how about a shufflebot boss that creates mini seismic earthquakes that stuns and stagger the player causing them to fall on their buts like the old iron slug charge. It would also have two battle pods besides it that would unleash waves of fodder bots. Under it's body, it would have a pack of juggernaut wheels that it will use to run and slam it's body onto players that get staggered by its seismic quake attack. Lastly, it will explode in a gigantic boom when destroyed.

the entire mecha knight thing would be a black hole bomb that sucks in everything, scrambles everybody’s identity in an explosion and promotes chaos.

Sorry, i can't see the mechaknight boss being a great direction. Seems a bit to chaotic and we would completely lose control of the situation.

This will help with the idea for the wheeled lumber.

I was thinking of give the wheeled lumber chainsaws for wheels, and a tree grinder for hands like This or this or this.

It will attempt to grab player and grind them for a few secs before throwing them to the wayside.

When it runs over a plyer, it will smack them under its chainsaw wheels and grind the heck out of them like roadkill and move on.

Well that is what I have for your ideas for now. Hope you like them.

Lastly, it would have to propeller on the side of its wheels that are constantly spinning like this. Each of these propellers would have spikes attached to the going outwards like the old Trojan horse carriages. These propellers would hurt any knight that stays to close to the lumber as it is passing by.

Though, these propellers are also its weakness point where if damaged there it will take massive damage.

Well that is all I have for now, hope you like them.

@blandaxt

1. Butt bot? Yes!
2. The mecha knight is not necessarily strong, it's simply a weak robotic spy that uses tricks and gimmicks to make it durable and invincible. As with my ideas, this one WOULD be optional so if you don't feel like chaos don't go for it.
3. Propeller seems a bit odd, but the wheels turning into chainsaws makes sense. It could also explode, and the like.

Gremlins - Seerus Constructs

Gremlins - Seerus
Constructs - RT
Fiends - Vana
Jellies - JK
Undead - Vana
Beast - Snarby

There is torto drones and battle pods but those aren't like bosses. And it's unclear about vana, but the main to move in is things are undead and trojans which there are only a few but they are there.

My thoughts

Chroma: I like this.
Dust Bunny: Not sure.
Battlepod: Already exists. http://wiki.spiralknights.com/The_Big_Iron#The_Big_Iron
Collector: I already think of it as a boss (even though it now appears twice instead of once).
Lumber: Already exists, though I would like one that can be fought multiple times. http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Ironwood_Sentinel#Ironwood_Sentinel
Mecha Knight: Don't like it.
Scuttlebot: Don't like it.
Shufflebot: ...They're training robots. Not really interested unless it's added in a training hall expansion with a boss tutorial.
Devilite: ...Well, if it's anything like the normal devilite, I'll die a lot fighting it.
Gorgo: I like this.
Greaver: Normal greavers are hard enough... Not saying I don't like the idea, though...
Silkwing: Don't like it.
Gremlins: Shouldn't have a single boss for all of them, but a boss for each class, if it's going to be the same way for other enemy types.

One of my ideas:

Dreadrode: A retrode about twice the size of a normal one and has much more armor. Shoots beams like a normal retrode, but can shoot with its arms as well. Has spikes on the head and a jet on the back - Launches forward occasionally to try to kill a knight with the spikes. Stunned for a short period of time after doing this. All damage dealt is reduced to about as much as it would deal to an enemy that's resistant to it (e.g. piercing and constructs) except while stunned after dashing. Has 3 stages - After enough damage is dealt it'll switch stages and the eyes will glow more brightly.

Stage 1: Beam is the same as a normal retrode. Shoots 1 bullet with each arm (2 bullets on each shot). Stunned for 5 seconds after dashing.
Stage 2: Beam is 2 times as long. Shoots 3 bullets with each arm (6 bullets on each shot). Stunned for 3.5 seconds after dashing.
Stage 3: Beam travels infinitely until hitting a wall. Shoots 5 bullets with each arm (10 bullets on each shot). Stunned for 2 seconds after dashing.

(Made a separate forum for this. Please put comments on this here: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/110882)

hmm..

That retrode boss reminds me of this character in this game called Star Ocean The End Of Time that i beat for ps2 a long time ago. Would be cool if we could take one or two of Roger's skills and give it to this boss. Also Roger was one of my favorite characters. Love the game too.

You didn't tell me why you didn't like the bosses that you didn't like, and Ironwood sentinel and The Big Iron don't count as bosses because they do not drop tokens.
