Easier to kill/bait stronger
Easier to kill/bait stronger enemies if the trash mobs are gone, even if that means having to kill them a second time.

It's mostly a psychological thing. "Why yes I did kill your buddy who's undead twice, what are you gonna do about it?"
Works every time.
1. They didn't see them die+ARISE! the first time
2. They don't want to be hurt by a slag that might attack them maybe a minute later when they were focusing on something else
3. They're playing by the mentality of "absolutely everything must be killed"
