Just wanted to say thanks OOO for doing a great job on expanding the Story rank missions. I've found them challenging enough on elite to still enjoy and redo them.

What I wanted to also say is would it make a big difference if at least one other mission could give the same payout as the King of Ashes mission?

Thanks

OCH

OCH has great payout, if you have extra 5-star Orbs of Alchemy, as many end-game players seem to. You craft the Perfect Mask and vendor it. That's an extra 10,000 crowns per run. It ends up being comparable to the King of Ashes.

Legion of Almire has about 90% of the payout-per-level of King of Ashes. That's not bad at all. And the other danger missions aren't far behind.

(Disclaimer: I am not saying that the game is perfectly balanced. I am just providing factual information that you may find useful.)

But OCH is really boring (really big, sparsely populated levels with unnecessarily long walks in between fights) and you can only do one danger mission a day.

DAN, on the other hand, gives the fastest and best radiant payout in the game by a long shot. So if you're after cr, too bad, but radiants are now much easier to come by (assuming you can get through that last room without dying 3 times like me).

Sure sounds like you're describing FSC there. And DAN, for that matter.

FSC is much more compact than OCH, and zombies are much easier and more straightforward to kill than gremlins. Gremlins dodge, go invisible, have shields, etc. DAN does have fairly long walks, but you can speedrun 80% of it and it still ends up being much shorter than both even if you kill everything. And it looks nice.
