Steam Log-In Stuck at "Logging In" Screen.

My issue is the same as this guy: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/110615
I'm just stuck at the logging in screen.

P.s. I have tried:
- Restarting the Client
- Restarting Steam
- Restarting my Macbook
- Re-Verifying the Local Content of SK
- Logging in from a different Macbook
- Uninstalling & Installing Spiral Knights
- Updated Macbook Java to version 8

This only began after this patch

I can still log into my old account from the stand alone client, only steam is unable to.

Would appreciate any help/advise/guidance that can be provided!

Yeah I can say the same.

Im glad and NOT glad that other people are having this issue. More of the same issue gets faster results I presume.

Try re-installing steam after

Try re-installing steam after properly uninstalling it. Also check if your internet is connected properly.

When you try to log in, can you please submit a bug report with F2? The bug reports usually contain useful information that may help our developers verify if a bug is in play and if so, find the cause so it can be fixed permanently. In the meantime, we are receiving reports of this from some other steam users, but not all. So it is a known issue, we're just as of yet, unable to recreate it and need more information from bug reports to track down the source. Once you log in and submit the bug report, you don't need to stay logged in. The issue is unlikely to be resolved this evening, my apologies.

Hey there, after the recent patch/update I was able to log onto Spiral Knights once this morning. Subsequently I was lagging a lot so I re-logged and could never get back into the game again. It's been around 6hours. Still no luck. My screen doesn't progress from the "logging In" screen (steam). The screen isn't frozen, the background particles are still moving and i can click options and stuff, but It never progresses to the character selection screen.

Would any of you be able to provide any assistance on this matter? Would really love to get back into the game asap! Thank you!

P.s. I have tried:

A friend of mine said it could be the patch that mucked something up, I'm not saying its the patch, but would appreciate it if a double check could made?

I had the same problem as

I had the same problem as everyone, I could not fix it in any way, this has happened to me when trying to equip a new wings of this new promotion, since that I have the frozen game and I can not log in any way, I hope to have it fixed soon, most players are having the same problem.

Same problem with me ive deleted and re installed the game, anyone who is online could you spam support or something xD really annoyed because i just equipped the new hunter dragon wings and the game messed up and wouldn't equip the costume, they were like merged together so the normal thing to do would be to re-log, so i did. and boom cant get back in =(

Dat errrors!!

I happen exactly the same problem as you, the error is in the new promotion, when equip the new items the game is completely blocked and can not resume, until we solve.

We're currently doing a bugfix release that should address this issue; the reboot is currently scheduled to happen at about 14:00pm PDT today. Please try to log in again then and let us know if you still have issues!

Here's more information hopefully it will aid you guys:

This started when i accessorised "frosty dragon wings" to my costume. It never appeared and upon changing load outs, I couldn't change back to the costume with the aforementioned wings. So I restarted the client and this happened.

Perhaps the new accessories or maybe just the Frosty Dragon Wings are buggy~

I understand that fixing this rather special bug can be a time consuming process but why don't you GMs show a bit of consideration and:

1. Make a public announcement INGAME that there is a bug that annoyingly results in a ban, but it's currently being under investigation. You'll be amazed the amount of players that have no clue about this.

2. Put this promo on hold by removing the boxes from SD. More boxes are being bought and more players will have themselves kicked from the game.

Indeed there is still a problem with that prevents some users from logging in, our developers are aware of this issue, and they are working on another update to fix this issue, but I'm afraid we don't have an estimated time on when it will be ready, but it should be relatively soon.

This is so annoying

I honestly agree with Doltrina I have personally invested in Boxes and the fact that i get kicked from a game that i have 3 other friends playing who are basically lost without me there to guide them through the game is complete BS I mean i understand its not GM's fault and trust me anytime a GameMaster helps out a player they all do a wonderful job so i am not blaming them, but we can not act like this isn't the first time this has happened I have been on SK for a very long time on my newest character with the exception of this account i have put 600+ hours into the game that is my new steam account since i lost my previous one due to me being forgetful. So pretty much i have seen this games good and bad this is basically one of the worsts i have been personally affected by. I understand it is a fixable situation just when you have an event going on and players are grinding for CR to transfer to CE and have to be left out because of a stupid bug just saying what if this occurs again and again and again. The last patch notes was because of this happening with the Vile wings now i am seeing them pop-up for glacial ancient and my Surge dragon wings so i would take the advice of Doltrina and just delay the event until they can get all the bugs fixed because this is some serious crap. (This is just what is going on in my head not targeting any of the GameMasters or even the Devs)

I have done everything said on forums for both SK and Steam, but when I verified the integrity it said 10 files failed.

I got various accessories from my Spritely Prize Boxes and I equipped the same exact frosty wing, and thats when things started to get crazy.

The bottom part of the costume was not loading and sometimes nothing loaded at all!

Could it be the wings...?

Yeah if you log off you will not be able to get back on you will be stuck at the "Logging in" screen

Update:

I was able to log in. As I returned to Haven the loading screen was just stuck at 0 with the gear rotating behind it.

I decided to close the game and reopen it, only to find THE SAME LOGGING ON.... Screen.

Please fix this ;-;
