Observation I:

The Leviathan Blade deals equal damage to the Glacius (onto Slimes and Fiends). Glacius has a Status, whilst the Leviathan Blade does not. The Cold Iron Vanquisher has a damage boost (Undead High) and deals about 12.5% less damage to non-Undead than the Leviathan Blade.
COMPARE TO:
The Dread Venom Striker has a Status (Slight Chance Strong Poison) and deals the same damage as the Wild Hunting Blade, which has a damage booster (Beast High).

Observation II:

The Ascended Calibur deals as much damage as the Silent Nightblade on Constructs and Beasts, and the Blizzbrand on Slimes and Fiends. The Blizzbrand has a Status (Good Chance Strong Freeze).
COMPARE TO:
The Acheron deals as much damage as a Gran Faust, whilst the Leviathan Blade deals as much damage as a Final Flourish (on Gremlins and Undead).

Observation III:

The Fearless Rigadoon has a Status (Low Chance Moderate Stun) and deals 25% less damage than the Final Flourish.
COMPARE TO:
The Cold Iron Vanquisher has a damage boost (Undead High) and deals ~12.5% less damage than the Leviathan Blade. The Glacius has a Status (Good Chance Strong Freeze) and deals the same damage as the Leviathan Blade on Slimes and Fiends.

PROBLEM I?

Swords are unbalanced currently: The main culprit is the Brandish line, and a minor problem with the Flourish line. Given the damage values, Status Brandishes deal too much damage for a Status-inflicting weapon.

REMEDY?

Status Brandishes should deal damage equal to the Cold Iron Vanquisher, whilst the Acheron should deal Obsidian Edge damage.

PROBLEM II?

Status Flourishes deal less damage on Neutral targets than the Cold Iron Vanquisher.

REMEDY?

Since reducing the Cold Iron Vanquisher's damage to 75% strength would effectively make it utterly inferior to the Leviathan Blade, the Fearless Rigadoon and the Furious Flamberge should deal ~87.5% Final Flourish damage, given the Dread Venom Striker deals the same damage as the Wild Hunting Blade (Status vs. Damage Boost).

(I will probably receive much backlash from the community, given that the majority of the population is addicted to Brandishes. I also doubt OOO looking into this. If anyone calls me out on just hating due to being a Gunslinger, let them know I was a former
Swordswinger).
