I can tell you right now, flame souls are NOT the most used material. And who sells materials below 3*? But yea, this really doesn't help the community very much, it's really really easy to be able to tell what material is worth what. If it was armor with variants, then yes this may have been useful.
What do you mean "who sells bellow 3* mats" ... everyone who needs easy money = new players would for sure be helped by this
Mostly nobody "buys" materials. I'm not saying they don't have any use, its just that we can get them from missions very easily, and we don't even need to farm for them. I've never been in a situation when I don't have a material I need, and I had to buy it.
Yea, not many people buy mats anyways. For new players if they want profit, and they're doing it this way, they're off to a bad start, because 1-3* mats are not even worth 1,000. Well, most anyways, some 3* are worth a bit (Rock Salt) Which I'm surprised that that's not on there, because that's the only material I buy on the AH.

One of the best materials to sell is rock salt. It costs jelly gems, which means that there's a much higher chance that people won't have one when they go to craft something, and that there are going to be fewer in general on the auction house.
You can also get Rock Salt from Primal Sparks. The 5 sparks have value at least 500 crowns (through vendoring 5-star trinkets), while the 2 Jelly Gems have value at least 467 crowns (through vendoring a 3-star item). So, according to this rudimentary analysis, the Jelly Gems may be a slightly more efficient way to get Rock Salt.

In all my time attempting to sell my mats, GH statues and feeding pets have been the primary reasons for other players buying them.
Warp dust and Dragon scales seem to be the most in demand after Monster bone, because the fastest statues to make are easily the Snarbolax ones.
