This is a super simple idea

Basically this would function like all the other prize blocks in the game, you pop it and good stuff comes out. The difference being that this block spawns at the end elevator on the first floor, and the end of whatever floor you are on when someone joins the party.

This particular box looks like an HP box with gold trim, however, instead of dropping HP this will ALWAYS drop a Vitapod.

One of the most annoying and frustrating things in this game is trying to get through tough missions when you don't get a vitapod till the third floor. By then many players die, give up, or just stop playing SK for a while for something.... more fair. When I don't get a vitapod till just before I get to the Danger mission Boss or the 3rd Floor of FSC it feels like the game is trying to slip it's hand into my Sparks of Life Wallet (FYI you try that to me IRL and you get shanked).

@ Bone

This is what happens after my creative writing classes end. Anywho, so long as they're good ideas does it really matter?

This sounds pretty nice, it could be something guaranteed in the first floor of each strata for normal runs for the difficulty curve. Obviously they would be more rare in the higher difficulties. I don't think these should replace heart boxes in levels though, because vita-pods don't heal when picked up so you could lose a run because the health boxes were replaced with vita-pod boxes. Either Vita-boxes drop hearts and pods, or they are a separate spawn to the heart boxes.

I think.

As long as this vita pod is only for that one player that popped in the party and does not show for the other members, then i am good with it. It should not award other players for doing nothing.

I'll take the time to actually write something for once.. I usually don't any longer because in the OP's eyes you're almost always going to be wrong if you're in disagreement. But I digress.

The purpose of having vitapods, pills, all of that is to make the player get stronger per run as they go along. The other, newer purpose, appears to be to raise the difficulty of certain missions. All in all, it would make more sense for players to have to find vitapods if these ideas are to be supported... imagine if there were no vitapods, and you gained the health from nowhere. Would that really be better?

The game definitely shies in that direction, but it doesn't always do so and certain buffs like health ups are balanced around the idea of vitapods occasionally not existing for long periods of time. Lets take for example two possible builds for FSC- a seraphynx one that revolves around heart attack and a maskeraith one that revolves around huge damage. If everyone uses the seraphynx build, then the run goes slowly. If everyone uses the maskeraith build, then vitapods not dropping becomes a problem on occasion, and it puts stress on the party. The balance is in using a mix of the two builds, so that the run goes smoothly.

My whole idea is that vitapods should be guaranteed for players who complete the first floor, even if it was the smallest vitapod available for whatever depth you are at it would still be an appreciated drop.

If someone joins the party after the first floor a vitapod box would spawn at the end of that level. Since all the other players have vitapods this would only benefit the new player since the rest have vitapods.
