This is an idea based on something from the popular FPS game TF2.
Kill-count ticket: This would allow your weapon to track how many people in LD it kills
Kill-streak ticket: This would cause your character to acquire a special type of Aura when you reach a certain number of kills. This would also keep track of your best Kill-streak record.
Damage tracker ticket: This would allow your weapon to track how much damage in LD it does.
Defense tracker ticket: This would allow your weapon to track how many defends in LD it does. (has to be the last used weapon when you kill the enemy)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
These tickets can only be used on weapons.
Using these tickets would remove all current UVs. The weapon owner would of course be warned about this.
Rolling UVs on ticketed items costs 25% more than unticketed items.
Not too great to use it on existing gear. It would be cool if we had a PvP update with a PvP prize box, with statistic weapons included in them to be unboxed.
UVs would still be the same cost on these items. These items are purely cosmetic in their function, there is no need to punish players for using them.
After the promo is over, all weapons would rotate on the auction house. There would be tiered boxes as well, so that those who wish to play tier 1 PvP and those who want to play tier 3 PvP will both be encouraged. (and also have different prices. Tier 1 could be $1.49, tier 2 $2.99, and tier 3 $4.49 per box)
Hopefully this sort of thing would be released alongside a new PvP game.
... Alternatively, have these weapons be recipes bought with krogmo coins (recipes are bound to you) for a hefty price, and making the item itself costs a fair bit more materials. This gets players making their weapons even more, and creates a whole new kind of PvP weapon market.
