Remember when Three Rings sent out patch notes via ingame mail 90 minutes before the patch?

Well, they stopped because they don't wanna spoil some of their content. Which is pretty much all content nowadays. We did get notes on June 25 though, so there's that.

What do you mean spoil some of their content? Spoil it 90 minutes before it happens? Wouldn't the patch notes be more incentive for people to stick around for the update? There's no point teasing people into sticking around for small bugfixes.

Anyway, they've released the patch, and there's no front page notice, no announcement, no patch notes, no wiki page or anything.
The only indication what happened is a notice on the news board, which didn't even appear for me when I looked at it after logging in.

Why would they issue patch notes for a new box?

I'm not gonna make an argument for why, it's just that when asked, GMs replied that they do not issue patch notes for prize boxes because they consider that spoiling them.
