all of my items in my inventory are bound to me, but it costs 100 energy to unbind each 1 star item, which translates to around 8k crowns per item

but then these 1 star items are sold for 1k, so theres no profit and you end up losing 7k. so how are these people selling bound weapons? theres obviously some sort of alternative that im missing here

Keep your weapons or sell them to a vendor. The unbind fee is to keep people from hugely profiting off trading gear like they did when the game first came out.

Vendors are the tall folks with masks you can find here and there. The ones that sell items will also buy items from you (even if they're bound).

Unbind fee scales with the star level of your gear as well, with 5* items costing 4,000 energy to unbind. That's above 320,000 crowns.

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.

you can sell things to vendors without unbinding them. you cannot sell things to players without unbinding.

nevermind. i was talking

nevermind. i was talking about on the auction house, but i figured out that these weapons that were being sold were unused, so they sell them fresh out of crafting. already made nearly 2k on selling just 2 1-star weapons, i think i might conquer wall street :)

Nope

You can't craft 4- and 5- star gear without heating it first, which means you have to equip it, which means it has to be bound. Generally the only high-tier gear sold on the AH is stuff with outrageous UVs that offsets the cost of the unbind.

Either that, or it's 3* and below gear that was ragecrafted for UVs and those are the unlucky results. That stuff was crafted and never used.

And P.S., selling things to NPCs is a terrible way to make money. Try farming.

I suggest the arcade if you

I suggest the arcade if you hate farming bosses and such. The arcade is always changing, and it's less repetitive in my opinion. Plus there are plenty of secrets to be found in the clockworks. Like if you ever see some stones in water, try shooting them or throwing vials at the middle one, it may make some crowns appear. But boss farming is the fastest if you get a good team together or can solo fast.
