i wanted to add a monster pocket to my shadowsun slicker armor but aparently i cant is this a bug or just a dumb part of the game
why cant i add front accessories to armors

You can't add armor front accs to those type of armors (the gunslinger and magic lines in particular). Check for the bottom of items to see which types of accessories can be added to them.

ahh ok just dont make sense
ahh ok just dont make sense to me there is space for it to be there so i dont see a reason to not letting me add it. Hopefully it gets changed in the future

Considering those lines used to be able to have front accessories and they were changed to not be able to, I don't think that will happen.
Check armor accesory simbols before to apply them, according to the wiki of spiral knights shadowsun slicker dont have front accesory slot, only back accesory slot.
but pretty much i would say, yeah its a pretty dumb design in the game. there armors that "look" could probably let you use that accesory but Oh no! bad luck the accesory dont have such slot, but then there another armor that apperently dont fit to have such accesory but Oh SURPRISE! it have such slot... yeah its a dumb and bad design.
Tip: before to buy accesories (if it from AH or a NPC merchant) click them on preview, if you armor have the slot, it will appear in the preview you will get from the accesory an how will look on your armor, if you armor dont have such slot the game will tell you that accesory cant be apply on the current armor. if you buy it from a merchant player or from "supply depot" well you cant tell what slots have (only trough supply depot when they put them on sale there) unless you check wiki if the wiki have such accesory on the page (thats why many players suggest a accesory previewer in game to prevent things like this)
