Not accepting new accounts?

I recently managed to convince my friend to start up Spiral Knights, and after making a new account and jazz on the SK website, she tried logging in to the game but there was a message that said (and I quote):

"We are no longer accepting new accounts from Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau. Please go to http://gamecyber.com.hk for more information."

I went to the website to look for some answers, but it seems that there almost isn't any association with SK in relation to gamecyber at ALL. Is this happening for all new HK/Taiwan/Macau players, or is it just my friend?

I'm kind of a noob when it comes to games, so I'm really confused if its a server problem, or what, and also I have no idea who to contact about this issue.

It was probably happening for all new accounts in those regions. Some time ago, they licensed the game to Gamecyber in those areas, however Gamecyber shut their version down. They just forgot to set it so it isn't blocking them in the main servers anymore.

Maybe support can fix it so your friend can log in, if you send a request directly to them.

The link doesn't work for me,

The link doesn't work for me, but it works for my friend, so she's going to go ahead and contact them.
Thank you very much, Flowchart!

Also, do you know how long it usually takes for a response to the request?
