When I log on the loading screen takes 5+ minutes to load. When it gets to 100 it starts to fade into the game but it goes back into the log in screen before it does. On my sisters laptop Spiral Knights runs perfectly so I know its not my router(she uses my router). I have an old refurbished computer from my schools computer buying program( provides computer for those who don't have one). I have the latest version of java and I think I have the the latest driver for my video card.
Game acts weird.

That would be the video
That would be the video device in that computer. It does not have full support for some of the OpenGL commands used in this game. You can try toggling Compatibility mode via the registry instructions in Providence's link, but that may not get the game working.
You are in the unfortunate position where your video hardware is simply too old. You may need to look into an add-in video card if you want to play Spiral Knights.
Can you provide us more information about your computer?
What is your operating system, Java version, and graphics card?
