For all of you wondering what I'm talking about, or just haven't visited general discussion for some reason, I'm referring to this thread on over here. The short of it is that Three Rings is making a mobile Plants VS Zombies-esk game set in a different time period of the Knights' time on Cradle. At least, that's the short of it as of the time I'm writing this.

My thinking is, what better way to get us invested in this new game than to create a contest of sorts where us players submit our knight costumes to be used as a rare or high-ranking knight? Names are not that important in this case, but the looks are. What type of weapon you use might also factor in.

As for the contest, it really can be anything. It can be an art contest, poetry contest, video contest, fanfiction contest... Heck, it could even be something like playing their mobile game for X amount of hours, and if they make something, have it able to link to your SK account. You'd get a lot more players in this new mobile game if they could command their Spiral Knight as well. ;)

Costumes from this thread could be used:

(yes I won a category that doesn't mean anything though)

Well in general

We can use the pre-made costumes already, or make a contest with a bunch of winners. This would also let people know that such a thing exists... Also it would be a lot of fun to see what sort of contest Three Rings wants to throw at us!

And official contest would be better and bring more people with unique costumes in.

Why not? This community seems pretty disconnected with a bunch of cliches and skepticism about OOO really interacting with its players.

Good on you, Fangel.
