Hey guys, i just started playing 2 days ago. finished upgrading my equip which is all 2-star rated now:

-Magic Hood
-Magic Claok
-Owlite shield
-Cutter
-Autogun

unfortunately i've found out i dont really like the way i look and so as the autogun gamplay style...

what am i suppose to do? should i keep going untill buying a 3-star diffrent equips ? or should i upgrade this quips?
i mean buying another set will take too long and will be a waste of cr.
beside is it normal to have more than one set of weapons and armors at this level??

okay this one is about energy:
me and a friend started playing this game together and we both think the energy that can be purchase with real money is overpriced...
how many of you bought it and was it worth it?
as well: if one of us buy energy can he share it with the other?

Many Thanks, Kukru! :D

Solutions?

If you don't like the way you look with your current set, but still have an older one that you liked, you can always drag another set into your "costume" slots. That'll make you appear as if you're wearing the other armor, while still having the effect of the set you currently have. I, personally, like to collect armor, so I have a few different sets even though I only use one or two. It's not uncommon to have more than one set.
Autogun? I have the same problem. I miss the run and gun style of other guns, like the alchemers. Currently, though, I don't have the resources to get a new one that is worth it. So I'm sticking it out until I DO get the resources.
Whether or not you should upgrade or change your equipment for 3*, well, that's up to you. Do you like the stats for your current armor (and it's 3* upgrade), or would you prefer the stats of another armor?
If it's purely for aesthetic reasons, then I say maybe save up a little at a time for a set that you prefer to be seen wearing. Or you can put off upgrading to better armor until you get the costume armor you want. You can see what other armor looks like here.

As far as the energy question, yes, you CAN share your energy! Crystal Energy (CE) is what you buy and it can be traded. If you and your friend want to pool your money together to buy energy and then split it, you can! :D
I have bought energy, and personally I thought it was worth it.

Hope this helps.

Paying is worthwhile

I bought crystal energy with real money and I've found that I got a great deal for my money. Each elevator comes out to about 3 cents, so I get about an hour of extra play each day for less than a quarter.

Regarding your equipment:

Regarding your equipment: Don't sweat it too much at this stage, and feel free to switch. The more you upgrade your stuff closer to 5*, the harder it is to branch out and experiment.

More than one set of equipment is perfectly normal, too. Think of advancement in both vertical (1*<->5*) and horizontal (gun, sword, bomb, and armor variety). The lower tiers are the best time to grow horizontally and find the playstyle that best suits you - it'll be the one that'll carry you up vertically.

Regarding CE: Seriously, what Icee said. Compare the value of how much energy gets you to other games. How much playtime does an arcade game give you if you put a quarter in? Personally, I think it's a great deal.

I say, buy the starter pack

I say, buy the starter pack for 19.95$, you get 5 mist tanks (each equals 100 mist energy, mist energy is capped at 100 remember, it can't go higher than that) which you can use for crafting the 0-2* equips for your mate and 3750 CE for each of you for 10$ each is a lot as long as you don't go crafting happy to get 4* and 5* equips as fast as you can, because you don't really need them so fast. Also, above everything - limit your revives to 2 per run and don't instantly revive the second you die, people will be happy to revive you because they collect the 30% of heat your drop when you die, that heat goes to waste when you revive with energy (no one gets the 30% of heat).

Also, before you go and craft 3* equips check the auction house to see if you wouldn't be able to get them cheaper pre-crafted already (like, consider the recipe cost too because in this game crafting normal equip for money doesn't pay off and you will only lose out money because everyone craft everything) .
