I know the answer I'm going to get: if you don't like it, don't buy it.
But seriously though, we should have a reason like it right?

Ruby promo was red themed, so if you weren't red that sucked.
If you missed the Vile theme series and had warm colors, Blazing Promo was for you.
Now not 1 month apart (with good reason) we have the birthstone for August in a green tint.

Expect rocks in your promo boxes for the next 10 months for the remainder birthstones. Hopefully we get something original every now and then though.
I'm running out of room in my costume inventory for all these recolors...

Eh

I think it's good to be getting another green promo. Green typically is the most lacking, with blue and red being the most prevalent.

Granted, this is the longest promo streak we've had so far without something else tagged onto it, such as an event or new missions or something. I'm expecting Shroud of the Apocrea to show up after this promo ends, else I might actually pick up a pitchfork and turn some hay piles angrily in the direction of the Spiral HQ.

Yea I was really hoping that they wouldn't do a separate prize box for every single birth stone. It's not necessarily a bad idea to make birthstone themed items, but giving each its own box seems like it'll get stale after about month four.

I would have done something like-

40% = Something birthstone related (i.e. something from a ruby/gemstone prize box)
60% = Something from whatever new promo is out

That way you have the rehashed birthstone stuff in new colors alongside the newest prize box commotion.

Predicting SK's updates in next 6 months

Operation "insert colour"

They don't even bother to make new accessories now.
Just recolor existing ones.

The sad part is that people keep paying real money to encourage this behavior... Those juicy brainwashed whales.

So spending money to obtain something you want, and are happy to pay money for, makes you a "juicy brainwashed whale"?
I would like to see your horrified reaction when you discover the mythical "female gender" and observe their reactivity with the rare element "clothestorium".

Best wall of text ever!!!!!!!!!!!! <69

Actually I was thinking about this quite a bit (what a surprise, Fehzor not having anything better to do than think about SK and money) and I came to the conclusion that we should wait until Rise of Knights is a bigger thing, and then ramp up paying to the PC version of SK. Basically, if we funded the game it would warrant more development.

Though I suppose that optimally, we would just find a good 20-30 people with actual factual jobs and all mail the developers a ton of cash like "Please make us content" because lets be honest, we don't really want anything else with our lives than more SK content. It would be like kickstarter combined with the mafia but way better.

But really like think about it- if you boycott them, they're probably just going to run out of funds and hate you, making them not listen to you. If you send them money and tell them to just make more but with preferably in some small direction (e.g. make more SK than RoK and consider balancing those armors!) then maybe just maybe the flies will catch more honey than vinegar.

@Hexzyle

I'm pretty sure dudes like shopping and buying things just as much as women do. They're just all insecure about their masculinity or whatever dudes do which is why they'd rather hide in their room purchasing MMO clothing (because you know, buying armor vs buying a dress is 110% different) than going out and living their lives, because the truth is that "living your life" does not actually exist. This is the purpose of the world.

tl;dr I agree with you but like to argue too much (and am too self absorbed) to just do that.

Great song-

I doubt they'll do all the birthstones, just the ones that have a corresponding Mineral color.

It was just a recording of myself, but since I haven't installed the mp3 codec for Audacity, I had to save in mp2, which doesn't work in-browser.

We DEFINITELY Need Actual Content

Yeah, I would like it if they did a add bit of content. If they REALLY wanted more players, they would go the Bungie route and actually try to LISTEN to their fans. Apparently they don't want to, though.

PS, I remembered that they are adding a wee bit of content. The Swarm apparently has infected the Core. We're all gonna die!
