like seriously everyone knows that its too over priced, you could do that i remember when you used to do half price elevators, or some event that make something cheaper because doing vana runs its boring and we always having the same stuf.

What's too overpriced? Heating doesn't cost anything, it's free.
Also, Fire Crystals can be found as drops.

It still costs time. Although that only matters when you have to heat in a limited time (Arms Appropriation), OOO likely wouldn't care about that since so few people do it, and might rather people buy the weapons (or heat amps), I don't know.
Increased crystal rate/quantity would be nice though.

Yes. Compare Spiral Knights to other games. The Radiants are a little frustrating. They give me an excellent excuse to stop playing one of my favorite games. And I haven't played it until today...just because a friend wanted to. Blah blah blah... Smokes pipe.

(Something like this would reliably get my playing the game again, at least while the event is around. I don't care about the statistics being good for the game as a whole; the end user's experience trumps all because it's him who spreads the word. So even thing things 'look' good when you look at the player base, if all the players are complaining because thing are like molasses on a winter day, it's going to give a terrible vibe. And I think we're seeing the effects of that.)
Elevators are free, you could play 24/7 if you wanted to. I don't get why ppl wana have all maxed gear in 4 day's time.
