1) In a full party, is there only one Harvester tracking one knight a time-- or two Harvesters tracking two knights at a time? ...Assuming it's Elite mode.

2) Has anyone timed the instances between getting the "Harvester's looking for you" signal, the Harvester tracking you, and the Harvester losing interest and sinking into the ground? <-- all without once triggering Mr. Tentacles to try and root down a hapless knight.

3) In the plateau without Steam voice chat, what've you found best for communicating in writing shorthand to your party?

4) What's the normal/avg. number of sigil-puzzles on a Plateau level? Does it change at deeper depths?

5) In a full party on the plateau-- to solo breaking down tombstones or to pair up and keep in sight?

6) How does Slender choose to who to track? or is it only rng?

7) Would anyone dare to bring nodes 91645 and 102054 back from the dead? again?

1) 1.

2) Haven't tried it but I don't think it's a timed sequence.

3) Simple communication through chat. It works.

4) 1-3. I believe not, though I could be wrong.

5) Soloing is the preferred option.

6) Hmm... RNG is the likeliest outcome, and I also think it has to do with how close you are to the Harvester.

7) ---

but I don't think it's a timed sequence.

It sometimes occurs that the harvester is already tracking you and prepping a grab attack before the harvester image even shows.

Sound is very helpful

Just keep your sound on and it should be fine. The breathing means the harvester is nearby, the kind of petrified yelp means it's going to attack, the stretchy sounds mean tentacles are closing in, and the slurping noises mean the harvester is respawning. Those are my largest indicators of things happening on the map you should keep an eye out for.

Few tips I'd say otherwise:
Kill the scarabs - they will kill you and your team if you do not take out a majority of them. They will also lag those with weaker computers. Vortex bombs, brandish charges, and hammer dashes are all very useful.
Fake out the tentacles - if you run away from the harvester in a straight line when it's attacking, you can make a sharp 90 degree turn after a short while and fake out the grabby hands. MSI helps with this, but is not mandatory.
Know your sprite - seraphynx users can use their sprites to go after souls that are near the harvester with their angelic aura, and maskeraith users can use their shadow cloak if hit by the grabby hands of the harvester to prevent damage. Drakons can use backfire barrier ultimate as well, but are the odd one out here.
Create landmarks - If you find the key to a key door, don't use it immediately. You can use that key to mark where another puzzle's end is and everyone can use it as a beacon. Finding key doors and the exit elevators are also helpful for navigating the plateau to your teammates.

That's all the basics to it there. Only other one would be to learn how to kill souls while the harvester is stalking you and/or nearby.

puzzles only

As someone with a ton of sigils from previous events, I don't break any tombstones. I just solve the puzzles, for fun. This doesn't matter to my teammates because I'm solo.

I almost always get 2 puzzles per plateau. Sometimes I get 1. I cannot remember ever having gotten 0 or 3. It does not increase with depth.

If you can't figure out a puzzle, read our wiki page on Shroud of the Apocrea. It explains (almost?) all of them.

All of Fangel's advice is good, but his point about landmarks is especially important.
