This upgrade requires the second floor to be upgraded fully, and costs an x amount of crowns.

It entails:

1 Spawnpad (moveable)
Healing pads (moveable)
Guildhall customization button that allows toggling of PVP in guildhall. (Similar to opening/closing guildhall)

PvP in guilds? What more can you ask for. Allows for tournaments/private fights without overclocking lockdown with people who just want to experiment.

Well...

I think this should be in its own room. Fighting in an area like a guild hall would be difficult (have you seen how many decorations and other movement blocking objects some guild halls have?). And how would it work with rank doors? Those would allow higher rank players to just go in and LOL at the swordsman/bomber trying to hit him as he fires his gun over and over.

It's a guildhall not the coliseum. decorations/movement blocks all have specific block allocations, that offers less problems then in missions themselves. And door will act the same, it's unfair, but that doesn't matter, because this isn't ranked. This would just allow for more fun in the guildhall.

I'd love a Dueling Room as well as "Guildhall Lockdown" where the entire hall generates an instance of itself for guildies to fight each other in. It would be so fun and opens up the opportunity for some very interesting furniture items (the spawnpad the OP mentions, and I wouldn't mind this being a furniture item in general, not just exclusive to pvp) and player customization...oh, we could even have "team doors" and make safe spots/locker rooms just like in lockdown and oh this would be fun. If we ever have "calmed" monsters that wander around, they could suddenly want to brawl with us during the lockdown as well. Oh! The spookat we summon from the Cursed Tome Stand! Ahahaha! And the Bellhop. Oh and any snipes can suddenly, well, snipe you. Would the console be the sole capture point so there's some focus? A furniture item that can be picked up and carried away for victory, appearing wherever it was placed in design mode? Or would it just be total bash-at-each-other war for a few minutes? I know I have fun with just buckets and throwing things, an entire mode would be more of a blast than blast network.

The guild hall would still be open and functional for other uses for guildies uninterested in the activity, with the "pvp" being its own instance, like that Guild Hall 2 we sometimes mysteriously join.

When the Hall PvP starts, would the "host" have the option of adjusting tier? Or letting it be all in no matter what gear guildies wear?

That could be added in also, although personally, I think it would be fine with just a simple toggle PVP.

Also, nice to see you still posting :D

Eh

I would prefer a simple "PvP training hall". It has no spawn protected rooms, no time limit, etc. Players would choose a team color as they would a shield before walking over to either the left locker room or the right locker room.

From that point forwards, players would choose a class shield. There would be an arsenal station in each locker room so players can switch between individual items rather than loadouts only.

Like the guild training hall, there would be 3 tiers. You are automatically put into the correct tier upon entering, but can go into lower level ones via doorways.

I would say you could customize the arena to your liking like you do the guild hall, but that's not a requirement.

PvP within a guild is a good idea, but the guildhall is too full of cramped passageways, differences in height (that would make bomb radius and guns very powerful), and other things that make actual fighting inside it difficult. Having a room we can go into that is more designed for PvP within a guild hall would be a nice addition to the guildhall in general.

A step further

Why not allow the guild to modify their LD map.

GMs and Officers will be given a blank floor (small or large sized). They can place blocks of different materials to give form to the level such as:

Stone Blocks
Ghost Blocks
Exploding Blocks
Breakable Blocks
Unbreakable blocks
Plants
Half height blocks (you can shoot over but can't move over)
Traps (spikes and status grates)
Spawnpoints

For every block placed there would be one on the opposite side so the map will be symmetrical. The Spawn will be in the middle of each side and the spawn gate will cover the entire side, builders can place blocks over the gate wall to limit the exit space.

There can also be an option to allow visitors to the guild to enter the custom map.
The guild can challenge other guilds in GVG to fight on their map, of course to do so the custom map would have to allow visitors so the challenged guild can see the map beforehand.
