Oozeball/Toxic Oozeball/Burning Oozeball/Frozen Oozeball/Silver Oozeball
These would basically be enemy spawners, draining their own life to spawn stuff that tries to kill you.
They can't attack on their own, and would eventually explode after spawning enough enemies. You can reduce the number of enemies they can spawn by attacking them (or just kill them before they can spawn anything).
The enemies they spawn look similarly to Glop Drops, but act completely differently. I'll call them Oozedrops for the rest of this post.
All Oozedrops have a basic tackle ability, as well as an on-death ability.
Oozedrops leave some slime on death that slows movement significantly.
Burning Oozedrops shoot bullets right next to them that have about the range of scuttlebots.
Frozen Oozedrops leave a mist similar to the mist left by Ice Cubes.
Toxic Oozedrops shoot 2 spikes in random directions.
Silver Oozedrops are different - Instead of triggering their ability on death, they trigger when low on HP. They charge themselves similarly to Quicksilvers, but won't heal. They can only do this once, so if they use it, are healed, and get to low HP again, they won't reuse the ability. They also won't do this if you kill them with a high-damage attack and they never get to this point in their HP.
I think the Burning Oozedrop should do an attack more like the Kleptolisks, (slime ball, basically.) Or just burn.
And the Oozeball should have a protective, not damage dealing attack, just a force back. It is purely knock-back, it does no damage, just to make it less vulnerable.
And, the Oozeballs could combine like lichens, allowing them full health, and more summoning, and if you damage them, they get smaller, and the smaller they are, the less powerful knock-back attack they have. The smallest is about the size of a normal Oozedrop. The Oozedrops could combine too, making more powerful attacks.
I hope you like my feedback!
