Well, I wrote about on a topic, but it seemed better to open a thread on the Suggestions forums...

Don't you think that releasing King Tinkinzar as a boss so easily would be wasting a gold mine?
[Note: I believe The Ironclaw Munitions Factory has nothing to do with King. The topic about "What's in development (June 2011)" just reminded me that I should be less leazy and write more here.]

I shall explain myself: I'd love to fight against him... but I thought "well, we have defeated himmm... and nowww?". King Tinkinzar is an important character for the plot, since he's cited by some NPC whose name I can't recall. And he's a mechanical genius, isn't it? My idea is that fighting him in a mechanical suit/ship/put-your-option-here (like a Sonic vs Eggman fashioned way) would give him reusability.
BTW, since Lord Vanaduke isn't cited, and he's T3, releasing King Tinkinzar a T2 boss would be an offense.

Please, discuss. =)

____________
Edit: Excuse me if seemed so, but I'm not jumping any conclusions. I wanted to say that waaaaaay before june/2011 dev news. Those only lit me up to fight my slacker-y nature and do it. As I said, it would be a waste the king of the gremlins being a T2 boss. (And nonsense, because would be quite strange fighting more grems in T3 after his defeat...)

He should be a T4 boss,

He should be a T4 boss, tinkering with the core. Would also explain why no one ever sees him. Also, it wouldn't be fighting him - it would be the guards who are protecting him while he's at work.

In T2 it should be a construct boss. It's in a munitions factory; robots gone berserk seems natural.

I have read this--with luv,

I have read this--with luv, even! I can't give any spoilers; all I can do is caution you against jumping to conclusions about the upcoming T2 boss.

It's ok

Well, think about this, is the Royal Jelly cited anywhere? Heck, are any bosses cited but Tinkinzar? I honestly don't mind him being a T2 boss, in fact I welcome the fact that Royal Jelly won't be the only thing people do in T2 now. It will help spice things up and add some options to the game (and possibly mech themed gear)

No npc said that he was the

No npc said that he was the "greatest" boss. He just mentioned that Tinkizar is a so-called genius. This means there won't be any problem with tinkizar being a T2 boss.

And what's this nonsense about T4,T5 or T9001 whatever... who said there's gonna be a higher tier? Honestly, I think the armour, weapons and shields are so nicely detailed already, that it would look hilarious to make them even more hightech as tier 4 items. It would look rather overdetailed if you ask me.

@Martinsen5

I completely agree with the Weapons and armor thing.

I love the Dr. Robotnik /

I love the Dr. Robotnik / Wily -esque idea of Tinkizar showing up in different machines as a reused boss. If he's not piloting the "Roarmulus" in this upcoming T2 stratum, I hope he'll at least be featured / referenced (his image on propaganda posters or giving orders over an intercom, for example).

ITT the King is a

ITT the King is a robot/cyborg built by the Inner Party, err I mean, Crimson Order to act as a sort of figurehead to the Gremlin proles, Oh I mean, population and so you're not really fighting "him" but a propaganda engine/riot control they built to propagate their rule and so they have several King Tinkinzars all ready to beat the crud out of players, because there is no and never was a real King Tinkinzar.

Alternatively King Tinkinzar just uploads himself into one of over 9000 backups whenever someone tries to assassinate him or a player beats him.

Dayumn.

Obese, ruthless and greedy gremlin, riding a huge mechnical robot suit. That is how I imagine King Tinkinzar. Using his zealous and loyal order to take care of various obstacles. Common concept, tho.

I think he is going to be T2.
