The handgun page considers the Proto and Blaster attack types as separate types, but guns under Blaster and guns under Proto seem to attack in the same way.
Can I make the change to the attack type for Proto type guns to Blasters, or is there a difference?

We tried to describe attack patterns based on alchemy path as well as behavior. So if there's little discrepancies that are better explained using an "average but low star so easily tested" item like this, and you feel the change would be more conducive to understanding the item, go ahead. But make sure they are actually the same. Study knockback, number of shots before reload, charge behavior knockback, and so on.
