Starter Pack questions

I'd like to purchase the starter pack for an new alt, so he could reap the benefits of the free bomb and shield. However, I'd also like my main knight to be able to claim the heat amplifier, mist tanks, and weapon slots, et al.
The patch notes say that the "items are bound", and I know from experience that mist tanks arn't generally tradeable. Is there no way to split the items in a starter pack between two knights from the same paid account? If I petitioned, would a GM move over the mist tanks to my main character?

weapon/trinket slots are
weapon/trinket slots are tradeable... well, at least that's my guess as to why there are so many in the AH...

Weapon slots / trinket slots
Weapon slots / trinket slots / amplifier in auction house all come from alts (you can buy them from Boost for energy, then they are tradeable and you can use mist energy too so effectively you can pay only 50CE for trinket slot and 150CE for weapon slot and 700CE for the amplifier).

I bought a started pack on an alt last week, the heat amplifier, trinket slots and weapon slots were all tradeable, only the bomb/shield are bound on purchase. I'm not sure about the mist tanks, since my alt used those.

Why bother with the starter weapons?
Why bother with the starter weapons? Thanks to UV farmers, you can get very cheap 2 star weapons from the Auction House.
Mist energy is shared between characters on the same account, thus:
1) go to your main character
2) use the mist tank
3) log off
4) log in, pick alt and you are ready to go
About the rest, i don't know.
