...no surprise these would spring up, right? Can't believe nobody's done a thread like this in the entire history of this game!

Sarcasm aside, I'm pretty much officially deserting Spiral Knights. The last time I've ever logged in was August 12, 2015, and now, considering I've abandoned it and probably caused at least one person to cry out "Where did Oroseira go?", I think I should probably just drop the ball now. It's been a wild ride, with many ups and downs, and even if many of those moments were downs, there were at least a few ups to balance it. But, despite the internet's famous saying of "THE RIDE NEVER ENDS", it has to. To quote Sarah Jane Smith from Doctor Who: "Everything has it's time, and everything ends." It's something that has proven itself to be true one time too many.

My main reason for my quitting is that I've just grown bored of this game, to be really honest. I've been there, I've done that, I've seen everything I can possibly see in this game. It's just not appealing to me anymore. On top of that, other things have since overtaken Spiral Knights and thus have pretty much drawn my attention to them. Some of the few that have are Warframe, Persona 4, Terraria, Kerbal Space Program, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and quite a few others. To add to that, I've become more of an artist and as such I've ended up spending an equal amount of time drawing, gaming and procrastinating from laziness.

Besides, it's honestly best to quit when something becomes boring to you. Otherwise, it just causes grief for you.

tl;dr: I've grown bored of this game, other things have caught my fancy, as such I'm leaving SK.
