I mean they can patch the game whenever they feel like. It doesn't have to be on a Wednesday that aligns with the promo-train... they've introduced events on Thursdays before. It's mind blowing, I know.

Here's how this situation is going down right now.
You are like a hamster stuck in a ball. You are hungry and see food outside the ball. Now you're scratching to get anything you can from it when there's really nothing you can do about it.
I'm doubtful that there will be an update tomorrow as we have already received the Sapphire promo. Next week is (probably) the Equinox promo. The next update after that will probably be an Opal or Tourmaline promo. If they were planning something behind the scenes, I'm doubtful that now is when they're going to implement it unless they have something special in store for the Equinox (Moon Lord boss when?!). The Zapper charge is just a small bug-- it will get squashed on the next update, which will more likely than not be the Equinox promo. Enjoy all the colorful people for now-- I'm personally loving all these promos. They're so constant that it makes Haven a really pretty place to see all the different birthstone colors floating around. I just hope that once it's over, it's over.
