i was originally thinking about stun, but sudaraska already does that, celestial fire on charge and second swing, or some other status. Maybe?? what does other knights think?

Why do Faust and Gran Faust have the same damage as Avenger and Divine Avenger despite being the only weapons that do curse damage?
Because Faust and Gran Faust have self-curse, and Gran Faust has the longest charge time in the entire game to offset that.

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.
divine avenger is fine as-is. we have bransishes for elemental + status combos.
if you are bored with a weapon, I suggest you change weapon. there are tons out there.

Avenger line doesn't need a status. Elemental + Status is covered by brandishes, slow sword + stun is covered by troika.
If the avenger were to have a status on it, it'd be similar in function to the faust's status, i.e., self infliction and super long charge times. Would rather avoid both of those to have a better weapon overall.
