I think that a new 4* and 5* sealed sword should be added keeping to the normal damage and random status charge. I also think it should stay true to the bandaged design.

But what i am going for is the random status charge and also sealed sword looks better then troika ( i really, really like the bandaged design). Also antigua got a third 4* & 5* gun to match the original so why shouldn't sealed sword. ( and oh btw just in case u didn't know antigua is spanish for old and a troika is a wide 3 horse roman chariot used to break shield walls).

Gunner update added a lot of new guns to fill the niches. Originally the antigua lines were split piercing and shadow/elemental damages. Gunner update just added the pure piercing version we needed in.
Thing is sealed swords have a faster attack speed than troikas. In the normal damage variety for weapons we have calibur as medium everything, troika as high damage low attack speed, and cutters as high attack speed low damage. We also have winmillion which is only 4* but it's the midway between calibur and cutter - thus a sealed sword dealing normal damage only going up to 4* would be a similar situation as a midway between calibur and troika. It'd also be less likely to outclass the troikas we have.
Not against the idea, just don't think it should go up to 5*. 4* weapons still work just fine, especially a heavier one like a sealed sword.

+1 what Fangel said, if it's 4* then it sounds pretty nice, but 5* is just going to overshadow the Troikas. Additionally, items with very odd properties unlike any other usually don't go to 5*, a lot stick at 4* or even 3*. Having a random status on charge is definitely one of those cases.
And I hate to say it, you can love the bandaged look all you like, but if they did actually add a 4*/5* Normal Sealed Sword, it would probably follow the same appearance as Avenger and Faust while leveling up.

People wouldn't care about a normal Sealed Sword upgrade.
People like the other swords because:
Divine Avenger: Slag Destroyer
Gran Faust: Destroyer of anything but fiends and zombies
Bandaged Sword of 5*: Bob, I think you just ignited that Toxoil

thanks for support Trymal. Dibsville I would defiantly settle for a just 4* if its that or nothing. My problem is I'm used to DVS so i find troika pretty much unusable. but i can use Sealed with a swiftstrike. and as Percival said it would be balanced out of OPness by the chance to ignite a toxoil (or shock a quicksilver etc) and the fact that its actually very difficult to inflict a monster(s) the status cos they have to be right in the middle of the four line things and their movement of sometimes ur own swing knocks them out of the remarkably small status zone.

Charge attack isn't what I'm concerned about balance-wise imo. Charge attack is fine. It's the standard attacks I don't want to outclass the troika. Troika already has a devastating charge attack in exchange for a very slow regular attack, and so making the regular attack be outclassed is what I want to avoid. A 5* sealed sword would outclass troika in every way, hence keeping it 4* with the unique charge attack property would be good.
Been suggested before, and although it's neat and all, the troika line covers the pure-normal damage heavy sword.
If we only got a 4* version that would really be enough, especially since 4* items still continue to increase in damage until the end of tier 3 instead of stratum 5.
