The concept

There is a ton of lore in the game about the sealed sword and antigua items, yet the legendary battle between angels and devils referred to appears to have dried up and vanished... but what if it hadn't? What if there were still angels and devils somewhere lost in the clockworks, ready to surface at any moment in an attempt to dominate cradle?

New enemies

Valkyries- A formidable knight like creature wearing Valkyrie armor, complete with Valkyrie wings and everything. Would be neutral to elemental/piercing and resistant to shadow, behaving almost like a mecha knight. Valkyries would also be immune to poison and curse, but weak to fire.

The Valkyrie would walk up and attempt to divine avenge the knight to death, performing the mecha knight spin attack with phantasmal sword blades in all 4 directions that would shoot outwards as you would expect from divine avenger. When the Valkyrie is low on health, it switches to argent peacemaker, moving backwards and away from the knight while shooting and reloading. If it gets out of range, it uses a pill to heal it back to full health and switches back to using divine avenger.

Fallen- A curse dealing fiend variant of the valkyrie mentioned above. Instead of 4 projectiles it only spawns one larger gran faust variant; which shoots out in an arbitrary direction but towards a knight rather than in all 4. Fallen would be immune to fire on top of the usual fire/curse.

Lesser angel- lesser angels wearing angelic raiments wielding avengers and silversixes would also make an appearance- these would only resist poison/curse, and would spawn one bullet like the fallen, as well as have less health and attacking power.

New areas-- permanently added to the game

New levels would be added to the arcade, rarely spawning alongside treasure vault and graveyard levels in T2 and T3, representing the above themes.

Satanic Summoning: Devilish Desires

A graveyard level, but all textures are bleaker and have the life taken out of them. No undead are here, except for several phantoms- more than usual. Instead, devilites without pit bosses of all statuses spawn here. Eventually, a cleared out arena is found with a large summoning circle in the middle and many devilites surrounding it. Using a fiend ID card from the tortodrone event will allow knights to fight in an arena containing many fire splotches and around 10 waves of devilite overtimers with several Fallen mixed in. Defeating this area transports the knights back after granting them a special unholy seal in T2 or 10 unholy seals in T3 and several prize boxes.

Treasure Vault: Stolen Stash

An abandoned, used treasure vault with dimmed, flickering lights. No treasure boxes remain except for a few hidden behind an energy gate along with a single present box from xmas, and the ground is covered in used confetti. A single gremlin child remains on the level, trapped in the center of the level, not moving. Though this gremlin may be killed and in fact has quite few health, bringing it the hidden xmas present will cause Valkyries and lesser angels to assault you, spawning all over the level and changing the atmosphere to become extremely vibrant. Defeating these Valkyries will grant each party member a holy seal in T2, or 10 holy seals in T3.

Changes to existing items

Antigua and Sealed lines would now require seals to craft-

Faust/Avenger/Silversix/Blackhawk/Raptor: 7 Seals
Gran Faust/Divine Avenger/Sentenza/Argent Peacemaker/Gilded Griffin: 70 Seals

I could also foresee them getting a buff, since many players find them underwhelming.

The event portion..

An ancient alter has been discovered in the clockworks and you are sent to investigate. After inspecting it, the text 'an eerie feel is about you' appears and you begin to leave.. as you do so, you are assaulted by either angels or fallen, and the background of the level changes to match. The actual fight itself takes place directly before the knight is allowed to leave.

The level is playable only once per event, as the event lasts exactly one day every month and is not stated in patch notes.

The event rewards

If the knight goes back and inspects the alter after defeating everything, it will allow them to craft-

Unsealed Sword- Deals normal damage, and has the same charge as sealed sword but in an area similar to that of nitronome. To balance this, the charge takes the same time as gran faust.
4* crafting requirements: Faust + Avenger; crafts from sealed sword base
5* crafting requirements: Gran Faust + Divine Avenger

Awoken Antigua- Deals very high normal damage (~5x that of argent peacemaker), has the same attack pattern as antigua, and has a natural damage down: max on it, allowing for +12 damage instead of +6. The catch? Missing a single shot drains 1/6th of the knight's HP.
4* crafting requirements: Silversix + Blackhawk + Raptor
5* crafting requirements: Argent + Sentenza + Gilded Griffin

Neither of these items would be mentioned anywhere in patch notes, and the entire process would be left for players to figure out.

Enemies:

The Fallen would use a Sentenza at low HP, right?
Would Lesser Angels aim like the Fallen, or not like the Valkries?
Would they block? If so, what shields?

Areas:

Satanic Summoning - Could you still only get Glyphs for the ID card during the event?
Stolen Stash - Is the Xmas box behind the energy gate? Does the gremlin give any drops? What happens if you kill it after bringing it the present?

Weapon changes:

What Seals do the Antiguas and Sealed Swords need to craft? I'm guessing Unholy Seals for Fausts and Blackhawk/Sentenza and Holy Seals for Avengers and Silversix/Argent Peacemaker, but what about the Raptor/Gilded Griffin?

Event:

This is a prestige mission, right? Would it appear in the section for tomorrow's prestige missions?

Event rewards:

What happens if you hit a block with the Awoken Antigua? What happens if you hit an enemy's shield? What if you hit the Snarbolax when it isn't stunned, the Royal Jelly when it's using a spin attack, a Roarmulus Twin when it isn't stunned, or Vana's mask when it's still burning? And using that thing would basically be shooting yourself in the face when against dodging enemies.

Hmm.

I like the idea of angels and demons sort of path, but changing up alchemy lines and whatnot is a bad idea. Instead I'd say make branching paths of the current two weapons with new art: "Valkyrian Blade" and "Swarm's Eye".

"Valkyrian Blade" would be crafted from an avenger, and deal pure elemental damage. The elemental damage would essentially double that of a normal 4* avenger, thus that it deals more damage to weak enemies, basically the same against neutral, and hilariously less against strong enemies.
Its appearance would be that of the 5* sealed sword, however the entire blade is made of light and the glow that typically outlines the sword is not there. There would be a large flowing ribbon coming off of the handle.
The weapon's attack style would be the same 2 hit combo, but its charge attack would fire 3 mixmaster-esk projectiles that boomerang back to the player. The charge attack would also inflict its targets with a defense down and movement speed down that lasts 2 seconds.

"Swarm's Eye" would be crafted from a faust, and deal pure shadow damage. Same spiel as the Valkyrian Blade but in shadow damage.
Its appearance would be that of the 5* sealed sword, except the entire sword has been encompassed in darkness. The glowing light of the Valkyrian Blade is replaced with an everlasting darkness that is constantly shifting as if attempting to escape the blade. Creates a dark aura around the blade and its wielder.
This weapon's attack style would mirror the Valkyrian Blade in that it's a 2-hit combo, however instead of firing 3 mixmaster-esk projectiles the player swings their sword twice in front of them in quick succession and soon after a massive disruption beam led by an eye that opens as it goes along fires forwards. The eye resembles the eye of the Swarm, and this charge attack acts more like a sword-antigua charge than a sealed sword one, however this sword does inflict moderate curse on its charge attack and only once the eye has opened with a 50% chance. No self infliction.

This way we don't disrupt current items, however give options for more of something. These weapons would be powerful in the clockworks in appropriate levels but less helpful in non-appropriate levels, and would also be popular in lockdown due to the pure damage being more helpful than split normal.

Now onto the levels
Satanic Summoning one is alright, however I would recommend that instead of an ID card there would be 4 keys throughout the level and 4 key doors with boxes behind them throughout the level. However, should you pass up the key doors, there are 4 more key doors at the end that have a keycard item locked behind them(you can pick it up and place it). However you can also opt to open six 5-energy gates that lead to the same room if you've used your keys and still want in. If you have a fiendish ID card material from the tortodrone event you can access the battle without doing all this, however using it 3 times will consume the keycard (it is marked via the UV variants. Freshly crafted cards will have 3 UV icons on them, and as you use them for this room they will drain a charge. You can use an ID card of any charge level for tortodrones, so you may want to hold onto the last charge for that instead!)

This way you have multiple ways in, but the best way is to not get greedy with the boxes. You know, kind of the opposite of a treasure vault. Eh? Ehhh?

Now for the Stolen Stash I would say don't make the gremlin orphan kill-able via weapons (if you want to pick it up and throw it into a pit of fire behind them go ahead - collect 1 unholy token that way) to prevent any unwanted things of that sort. Bringing the present to the end of the level grants everyone with a single spark of life, but bringing it to the gremlin will start the ambush.

About the event
I like the event portion, however I would say it should show up between one to three times a month and is generated at random. This makes players want to play more frequently. It also does not show up on the "tomorrow" tab, instead only popping up after midnight PST the day it's available.

The two weapons craftable here should be the two swords I mentioned above. You could also have an antigua gun version of both of them with nearly identical charge attacks (narrower projectile for the eye, single larger bullet for the mixmaster-esk bullet).
