I have been planning to get an elemental gun to possibly replace my WRH in a few loadouts
however, I have a lot im already thinking about at the moment, and I feel like some people might have the same question, so this could be a reference post to those people, so im going to leave this up to you guys to help decide on the best elemental handgun to replace a WRH

tl; dr: what elemental gun is a good one to swap a rocket hammer for

(p.s. I already own an omega tortofist, any discussion about it is appreciated, but not helpful)

well

WRH is pretty different from every gun. For example, it works best in extremely close contact with the enemy. Tortofists have a little bit of the same movement dynamic. Other than those, I don't see any gun playing the same role.

So are you really just asking for recommendations of elemental guns? If so, then maybe tell us whether you want damage, status-spreading, crowd-control, etc. Otherwise this thread will just rehash the same discussion as always.

Because you shock the enemy then you pile-drive through them with hammer's dash.

One that had a connection to it... so a Pulsar or Catalyzer maybe? Gremlin weaponry tends to go with gremlin weaponry.

When you asked for a gun to replace WRH, I tried to think of similar guns. Now you are asking for a gun to use alongside WRH --- to complement it? To me that's an entirely different question. A complementary gun is probably not similar at all.

Anyway, Storm Driver is great. So whatever your question was, get that and enjoy it.

As a completely biased opinion, I'd recommend the Iron Slug. It's my preferred weapon for dealing with constructs. Yeah it's not an elemental gun. However, it's far more satisfying than any of the elemental guns (In my totally biased opinion).

Actually I would recommend the Winter grave as a weapon to pair with the WMRH

The charge attacks of both line up very well and the type damage of each gives wide coverage.

You can freeze enemies with the WG and do hefty damage and then come in with a WMRH charge to finish them off. A bit of an unorthodox strategy but satisfying nonetheless .

I already own a winter grave and iron slug, so ill just work on the storm driver and graveyard this
