In all fairness

Since the chests on the way down to the last arena yield no consumables to aid in the last fight, can we not also have NO consumable drop on the treasure room? This is me saying this after getting a 9 and 6 radiant payout today, so excuse me for being a little bitter. That or let some of the chest drop Radiants on the way there...

Hoping you still look at these threads

I haven't reached DaN yet - I'm still defender elite.

Still, +1.

Hm.

Personally I like the fact that we have to rely entirely on skill (ie no consumables outside a possible 2 from the prize wheel) until the fight, but I will agree that getting consumable drops in the final room is very discouraging.

However that being said, I'm fairly certain that rarity drops are independent of the box's content. You can get rarity drops from boxes with a pill in them, and you can get rarity drops from a crown or heat box as well. Sounds like bad rarity RNG is in there.
Only purpose for the consumables being removed from the last room would to be to give a higher crown/heat amount. Personally I think the DaN level treasure boxes are modified and the end ones are just standard ones, providing rarities and, also, consumables.

Since DaN is rarity farming it shouldn't matter if consumables are left there, as it has no effect on rarity profit. However the crown profit is pretty small, so any increase in that would be welcome as long as it doesn't mettle with the rarities.

I'd like it if, in addition to removing consumables, the boxes don't drop heat. Then the boxes would, by default, drop crowns. Though the crown profit may not be much, it feels better to not pick up consumables and, for end-game players with level 10 loadouts, heat.

i agree to the idea to remove consumeables in the treasure deapth. even if it has no effect on the rarity (which would has to be proven first), it still 'feels' less if you see some items you are defenitelly do *not Need at all* at this Point. Just remove These and let Players 'feel' like they have more Drops there. (reminds me on the debatta of which of the 2 pathes in D26, fsc gives more payout).
