I've been thinking of a few things that could possibly be implemented, that might not require too much effort on the devs' part, nor would they affect too much other than just looking nice.

♢Echo Stone Aura.

When using an Echo Stone obtained from one of the four Shadowlairs' Sanctuaries, a Knight may radiate white light, and/or obtain floating white pixel particles around their character, as seen in the Core's skybox. The effect would fade out at a moderate pace after the Echo had reached its end.
(I'm thinking more of a "visible to peers" kind of thing, in tandem with the screen overlay that only the player using the Stone can see.)

♢Walking Mechanism.

A "/walk" emote command could be used in environments such as Haven or Guild Halls, giving the Knight using said emote command reduced speed, and the animation seen on the NPC Knights who carry things through Haven. (Though of course, without their arms up above their head, because that would look silly). The command could possibly be unusable in levels, due to weapons clipping through the ground, overall movement speed decrease, et cetera. Possibly strategic in some areas, though, for example Vanaduke's mask stages, so that one could charge a blitz needle and still get a movement speed decrease, so as to merely graze the bullethell as opposed to getting smacked in the face by it. Depends on playstyle.

♢Flying Mechanism.

(This one might require more work on the devs' part, though it would look neat.)
Similar to the "/walk" command mentioned before, a "/fly" command could be implemented for winged players. Though a tad elitist, it's merely a suggestion.
Areas such as Haven and the Guild Halls that use the model.dat file for Knights (as opposed to the model_level.dat file for dungeons) could give Knights with Wing accessories (as well as shoulder/ankle boosters) a "flying" animation, in which they would be elevated a small distance off the ground, and their wings would flap repeatedly. (Booster packs would emit a longer trail of fire, and maybe a humming noise akin to what a jetpack would sound like).
Possible change of angle and movement for the Knight as well, as the idle and moving animations for knights on the ground would not make sense for ones using /fly. I'm thinking a possible decrease in leg movement so as to make it look more realistic. Also a slight angling of the Knight forward.

Thoughts?

Hm.

Walk I've agreed with. Having it be a keybind toggle would likely be the best way to go about it though (with a chat command to pair with it). Just play a slower stun animation and you're good. Haven or clockworks works, PvP maybe.

The /fly command, ehhh... Gonna say no to that. It's neat to think about but it would only really look good with dragon/valkyrie wings. Accessories shouldn't be a driving factor to a feature.

Echo stone aura would be cool. No harm in having a temporary thing while you read the echo stone - and opens up a potential for a permanent aura if we get a core-promo of some sort.

@Fangel

I'm expecting a Whitespace promo box; too much potential in it to not release one. Would love a swarm/core aura.
Walking, yeah. Possibly even a button on the minimap like the zooming feature, though this is just speculation.
With the plasma wings and gen1 wings it could be more of a hovering thing. Possibly. And yeah, like i was saying, it does sound a little elitist, but wings aren't really useful otherwise, thought they very well could be with the right coding. Not really expecting /fly anytime soon, of course.
