2 options for this -

1. Make the first ever Shadow Lair shield. Of course, this would have freeze resistance instead of sleep resistance, and would be the same in every other way (other than appearance), like the armor.

2. Make this be able to be crafted like most other items (learn the recipe, and craft at any normal alchemy machine), but get rid of the stun resistance instead of the sleep resistance.

Shields and their Lair counterparts

Far as shields for SL armors, there are technically already two, though they're regularly craftable:
Crest of Almire
Barbarous Thorn Shield

What's interesting, however, is the nature of the Shields as opposed to the Armors. BTB is a Pierce resistor though the SL set is Shadow resist. CoA is Fire resistant while Crusader is not.
Just thoughts.

Wouldn't mind seeing the shield as a branch of Rock Jelly.

I'd love to see this. We don't have a pierce/freeze shield yet, and this would make Jelly shields worthwhile!
Plus, a blue/white version of the Royal Jelly shield would look super cool!

Nothing against this. We have a stupidly low amount of pierce-status shields and we need more.
Shadow Lair shields would be pretty neat though. Pretty sure Holy-Nightmare has made a suggestion for it in the past, but hey, this is a new conversation.

Rabid Snarble Buckler would be nice to have, and trade sword damage med for poison resistance and sword damage low + sword ASI low. Maybe drop the ASI low but it's a shadow lair item dengit, should be good.
Almirian one could be a "purified crest of almire", and it grants curse and fire resistance, plus sword CTR: low (think of the almirian crusaiders and their flourish lunges), however has less overall defensive power.
Ice queen is kinda already gone over... No reason we can't go over it a bit more. Give it stun instead of sleep resistance, however also give it universal CTR: low. Lower its piercing defense a little bit to compensate.
Last one is red roarmy. Hmm... Potentially could be something upgraded from grey owlite. Could be a "Reinforced Darkfang Shield" that looks similar to a darkfang shield, however looks more like an aegis in appearance. Would resist fire and shock to a maximum, but actually have a negative freeze and poison resistance (only -4 to each), and grant the same gun bonuses as the Mask of Seerus. Gunner shield anyone?
