Allow Rarity sales to NPC merchants

This one is so obvious I'm absolutely certain it's been mentioned before, but it's such an important one I think it needs another boost.

Basically the entire suggestion is found in the title. I understand and fully support the fact that scavenged Rarities are bound to the player to prevent trading, but other bound items such as weapons can be freely sold to NPC merchants. There's no reason not to allow it and plenty of reasons to support it. For example, no one above Knight Elite is going to use 2-star Warm Fire Crystals, ever. Highly experienced Vanguards have more 4-star Shining Fire Crystals than they could ever use. (I'm currently approaching 20,000 of them, and many people have more.) Even Alchemy Orbs and Sparks of Life can potentially be subject to this. Why do they continue to clutter our inventories?

The pricing system already exists, just treat them as materials. Payout from FSC would go up less than 1,000 crowns, which comparatively isn't very much. Compound levels wouldn't be affected at all. The only hitch is that Sparks of Life don't have a star rating, but assigning them 0-star status shouldn't be difficult.

I won't claim to understand the underlying game code that prevents sale of Rarities, but I would guess it would be an extremely simple fix, possibly as simple as just flipping a Boolean value. Even the allegedly weak programming team at Three Rings should be able to manage that.

This is something that really has no excuse to not be in the very next update. I'm hopeful you'll agree.

They want rarities to be bound to your knight so that you can't trade them or get rid of them and are stuck with too many of them, so that gear becomes essentially free. If I have the power to craft 20 new items for free with only the cost of recipes stopping me, I would logically want to go out and craft them, right? The problem with their logic is that I need all tiers of rarity for any one item, and currently the last tier, radiant fire crystals, is incredibly time consuming to gather and prevents people from crafting up to that level... but I'd much rather see their logic in action than make the entire thing redundant because it would be so beautiful.

----------Also----------

I totally heat 0/1/2* gear. Or at least I used to. Now I don't have enough time to because all I go on is Dreams and Nightmare, the danger missions, and when I'm feeling lazy the jelly king.

It's not my fault you're inefficient.

Fehzor, I've read that post a dozen times and even asked several other people to read it, and I still can't figure out what you're saying. Are you claiming the developers want us to craft large numbers of items (which in addition to not making them any money doesn't even relate to my proposal)? Are you using this thread to complaint about Radiant Fire Crystals yet again? Are you just trying to be a douche?

Really, there's nothing wrong whatsoever about there being the option ...

Thesis:
Developers want to mocker players into crafting more things.

Execution:
Most rarities are easily to get so players can get more items with higher Speed and that player has the impression to make big progress. And making Progress is something people like, so: players stay into that game for longer.

Thesis 2:
No one wants to use 0*, 1*, 2* crystals.

Contra-example:
Fehzor likes it - at least in the past (me, too by the way).

Extanding that example and goes offtopic:
Fehzor does do Dreams and nightmares, danger missions and other stuff today and she is buisy with certain real life stuff which results in having less time for Spiral Knights.
