Assuming I get a new computer and return to this game after all, I wanna know if people still play it since I'm not really a PvP guy but I enjoy the occasional Bomberman clone.

OMG this thread just gave me a nostalgia attack...

I remember back then when I was a noob... It seemed impossible to get 4* equipment... Tier 2 Lockdown and Blast Network were fairly active, with Tier 2 Lockdown very active at the time.

Man I miss the old SK... Old UI, no missions, hard-to-get equipment... Ahh...

Plasmatech Pride

I remember way back when, when my guild Plasmatech Pride was number 2 in the guild Blast Network leaderboards.

lotsa death

It has been quite long since the glory days of BN, when it covered the whole PvP playerbase and had more than a few dedicated guilds. That was a time when Snarbolax was not a thing, a time when it was a 3 hour drive from New York to London because there wasn't some sort of gigantic ocean seperating them. It is a little hazy now but yeah, good old times. Saying BN is dead by then-BN standards is like saying British monarch is over because now the parliament runs the whole thing.

Just like how dinosaurs kept living in the form of chickens, BN deaded a lot but still kinda lived on. It still had a small yet loyal playerbase (around 100), two or three guilds, and that became the new standard for BN. Because only 4 players are needed to get a game going, it had no problem adapting to the new situation. Now even by those standards, BN seemingly approaches its demise as SK also does.

TL;DR: BN was quite dead but now it is even deader because SK overall is deader.

Wow.

Plasmatech Pride wasn't even focused on Blast Network. It's just the only PvP that allowed costume armor.

Yeah, its dead. I miss it though.

@whatevermate, isn't that when gas was 3 cents a gallon? Or was that when it was a 2 1/2 hour trip 030

hm

well,
if at least 10 to 20 matches happen every time I log on, you can't really say it's dead. Shouting for people to form a bn team through zone chat helps by the way, don't be shy.

Pick me! Pick me!

Add me ingame: Weegeftw

I'll be happy to que up with you on either server for BN matches.
I also have gotten quite a few matches despite the decline in activity PVP wise, enough to satisfy me anyway. :3
