Vog is NOT happy that his "cubs" have gone extinct, so now he's chosen a new creature to spread the flames and destroy the knights who've hunted down every last one of the Vog Cubs to make coats and caps from their fur.

Vogwings - Fiery creatures which look similar to Silkwings. They're slightly larger, and flame particles constantly come off of them. These cure status effects (except fire) from monsters they touch, but they won't intentionally touch monsters with statuses on them. They're more offensive creatures, flying to knights to whack them, sting them, and burn them.

As I put above, they can whack and sting knights, with a high chance of fire. They also occasionally leave behind a small fiery haze, like a Fiery Vaporizer.

When they die, they stay in the air for a few seconds, lightly flashing. The flame particles come off of them faster than usual during this time. After this, they'll explode with the same visual and range as a Fang of Vog charge, knocking back and damaging all knights in range. They also light anything and everything in range on fire, no matter if it's a knight or monster (of course, immune monsters aren't affected). There should still be enough time to escape after killing one in melee, so swords are still an option against these. However, they're still risky, and it's better to take one out from a distance.

Aggressive, violent exploding

Aggressive, violent, exploding fire Greaver. Yes please, except it needs to not have the same attack pattern as a Ruby. Don't need more ridiculous homing enemies, because if you don't have a rocket hammer they're extremely hard to avoid.
(At least, not as much homing capability as a greaver, unless your idea is to only introduce two or so at a time)

Where are we supposed to find Vogwings?

@Blaze - ...Idk. That's for the devs to decide. | @Umbra -

These are a bit different from Ruby Greavers -

First, they drop fire mists at random.

Second, they don't dash at the player as quickly as Rubies.

Third, they have 2 non-mist/explosion attacks - A basic hit, and a sting which would probably have slightly more time before activating but more damage + higher status chance. Maybe even leave a flame patch behind?
