Hi,

it takes me 20s to do 10 double hit combos no matter which of both swords i use.
(Faust is lvl 10, Avenger is lvl 1)
Why? judging form the attack speed bars of both weapon there should be a difference.

double check

Hey blueprinces, do you mind checking your numbers? To be more accurate, I did a test for my gran faust and it did 20 two-hit combos in 37 seconds. I don't have an avenger, so I just tested my troika, which is a slow rated sword like the avenger. Not saying it's the same, but the 20 two-hit combos came out to 42 seconds.

Maybe you'd like to try again and give some numbers that are more accurate? My GF does the 10 combos in about 18.5 seconds, which does not match your 20 seconds. Granted it's a GF, but I don't think their speeds differ, as I of course became quite familiar with the Faust prior to upgrading, and I tend to notice speed differences immediately.

The tooltip meters were

The tooltip meters were entered by hand, so they don't actually correspond to any numerical stats attached to the items. They are rough estimates at best, and often simply inconsistent.

In this case, the Faust's speed rating was simply copy/pasted from the Proto Sword's speed rating, whereas the Avenger's speed rating was copied over from the Hatchet's.

Ok, here we go: Time for 10

Ok,

here we go:

Time for 10 Double Combo:

Avenger (now lvl 8):

1.Run=20.710s
2.Run=20.609s
3.Run=20.705s

Average=(20.67+-0.05)s

Faust (lvl 10):

1.Run=20.090s
2.Run=20.104s
3.Run=20.063s
Average=(20.08+-0.02)s

Khorovod(lvl 10):

1 run: 23.03s

@Gigafreak: Sounds reasonable.

Yeah they have roughly the

Yeah they have roughly the same damage (aside from element/dark), attack speed, arc, combo type, charge time.
I'd rather not have em turn Faust into another acheron...

Thanks blue, I forgot I had

Thanks blue, I forgot I had the swiftstrike buckler on. Did the tests with and without and matched your numbers with proto gear. Swiftstrike shaves off about 1.5 seconds on 10 two-swing combos.

TiV, I don't think they'd turn Faust into an acheron. It's a two swing sword with troika/sealed sword pushback and it also curses (my favorite part). Some like the Acheron, but I prefer the two thwacks of the faust. Pretty much invincible to most enemies, unlike any 3-hit sword series. I say this as a huge fan of the cutter line too though. They should expand that.

I'm surprised people still

I'm surprised people still read the tooltips at all with how poorly pathetically designed they are.

Inaccurate bars instead of numbers. Hah.

I use the tooltips for one

I use the tooltips for one thing, and one thing only... to find out the general type the armor/weapon defends/deals. The bars are too inaccurate to warrant actually paying attention to but the symbols at least tell you what the item will do for the most part.
