Just a quick one. Anyone know what that little patch was last night? Usually there are patch notes accompanying any patch even if its just fixed bug X with weapon Y. I suppose it might be a good idea to keep our eyes open in the arcade.
Stealth update?
I have rather fast internet where I am so I can't often gauge the size well. I sure hope its something new, it might give the poor sod at OOO a break from having to think up new costumes.
OOO almost never releases patch notes any more
they did a year ago but now they wont tell us anything
My initial guess was they pre-patched the upcoming Gobblesnipe event. Also found it weird that an update would happen on a friday, devs usually don't do that since if anything goes wrong, it potentially ruins part of (or entirely) their weekend, so I assumed bug fix there possibly too.
It told me it couldn't download a patch. I had to re-download the entire game. I'm guessing there was something more than just a data patch in there.
I have 1G of data to use everyday with my internet (ick) and in 20 minutes it was only at like 51% (of downloading the files) and had sucked up a little less than 15% of my internet, maybe more, maybe less. I didn't let it finish installing because it was just eating my internet. I'll have to install it during my free download time XD I hope it's a good update! I mean you can math out how much it used but I can't...
I mean maybe less/more data, my way of checking usage doesn't include what uses the internet. So it was a decent sized patch. I can usually get the normal updates to install in 10 minutes or so.
I can't wait to see what it is. *crosses fingers and whispers, "Swords update...more armors....please...and monster pockets..."*
Logged on, there's nothing really going on. No new equipment, Nonna's not there...
It took 1 and a half hours to update, and about 300 MB or so of internet, but it's downloaded. Woo...
^I'd say no spoilers but every single knight in game that cares and isn't living under a rock already knew it was coming three months ago.
As a side note, I'll admit that I actually really like the color schemes chosen for these gem boxes. Not enough to buy them at the five dollar price point, mind you, but enough to buy them off of the auction house, certainly.
Was it little? It took me 5 minutes to download personally, so I was wondering what it was too.
