I don't mean entirely remove it and never get it back. I mean like what if some people like glasses, some people like goggles, some people like knight vision etc etc. It just makes sense for them to ALLOW us to get rid of it and if we want it back to use a accessory grabber thing. Seeing as to how if you have this helmet. You're clearly walking around with some money xD!
So I put two other options: Make a variant of the helmet without the goggles, or remove it from the helmet but put an accessory of the same type into the player's arsenal in-case they still want it on.
What I think you're saying. If i'm thinking right. Make this version of the helmet come from the thing and then a different version WITHOUT the goggles come from the thing? I just don't think that having these goggles make them worth it. I spent 2ke on my set. I really really REALLY regret doing it. The goggles look disgusting. That is just what i'm saying.
Keep it at one version, and remove the goggles from that.
Then, put an accessory that looks exactly like the goggles in the arsenals of the players who own an Oni helm, which the players can attach at Bechamel if they preferred their Oni helms with the goggles.
The goggles exist as part of the costume since the gear is a uniform. Taking the goggles off you'd be stuck with a different personal color unless you're the right color of yellow/red. Notice how the face isn't blue/purple/green/etc?
This is a uniform. There are variants of all the helmets (oni > tailed helm, grim > sallet, last other one > pith) to work with.
I'm perfectly fine with the goggles on it. I understand where you're coming from with the whole "it looks bad" thing, but the dangerous and hazardous sets are uniforms.
Maybe make a separate variant of the helm which has the goggles, or remove them but make the goggles into an accessory (probably giving the accessory free to players who already own the helm, in-case they preferred it that way)...
I don't think removing a built-in part of the helmet would work.
