So what is the most troublesome and costly thing in the game for a trader or someone who wants to become a trader? The price to make an item tradeable.... I would like OOO to make the market more open for players rather than asking several thousands of CR worth of CE to make an item tradeable.
When acquired all items become semibound for 30 days worth (you can equip it for now but can't trade it, but in 30 days you will be able to freely trade it). After 30 days the item becomes tradeable (unless OCH or Proto). The player can choose to permabind the item for a CE price and can receive a discount if the item is still in the semibound state. Low tier knights can only trade in items they can equip.
A new CE wall device. This would basically be an NPC that sells CE.
100 CE for 10,000 CR
This basically walls the CE market and forces the player market price to say under 10k.
HOWEVER, this NPC can also sell any amount of CE at the rate 1 CE : 100 CR
Those who want some spare CE to open gates in the clockworks can get some when they need it and those who are buying in bulk can find better prices on the player market.
Bechamel would also get a large reduction in the cost of accessory removal so that players can more freely customize their costume.
There will also be a new NPC that specializes in prize boxes. Prize boxes of the past would be locked in a " _________ Storage Lockbox" that can be bought for a high but fair CR price, of course the player would also be required to buy a silver key to open them but no items would be lost to time. Current prize boxes can also be bought but they will cost the same price as a storage lockbox plus the silver key making for a hefty price. The NPC will also even sell Silver keys for 75,000 CR
Making CE purchasable via a renewable resource would make the CE market skyrocket, and instead of selling for ~8.5k to 9k crowns per batch, it would settle around 9.5k-9.9k and stay there.
However allowing us to legitimately get the premium currency purely for free would be an interesting change. If this change was made Three Rings would have to rely almost entirely on prize box sales, or potentially making paid energy packages give more energy, and/or put a limit on how much energy you can buy from this NPC at a time.
