Is it just me or were they nerfed A LOT. I used to get more emberbreak gear than red shards and now I haven't seen a gear drop in a few weeks. Like if the devs actually did it on purpose thats fine as the amount of crap gear I got was quite high, but if its too low I feel like that might be an issue.

I'm not. They were low enough before. Every item should be realistically acquirable on an individual level in a game like this. Ridiculously low drop rates are simply bad game design and pave the way for 2x exp/drop items in MMORPGs. We already have 'extremely rare' items in the form of Uniques, (Well, the good ones anyway.) and I think they should expand on the variability of random equipment moreso than just making carbon copy item X really hard to get.
Hell, Antigua and the items it's made into were still some of (if not the) most expensive items in the game, obviously showing there was still more demand than supply compared to most equipment. If Antigua was cheaper than a Stone Tortoise you might actually have a point.
Oh, and may I also point out that this game is supposed to have "NO GRINDING". Grinding doesn't just mean it takes 2 weeks to level up. Spending 3 days doing a dungeon either hoping for a specific item to drop or to raise money to buy that item because it's absurdly expensive through rarity is, in fact, a GRIND.

Pretty sure I got a Static Edge from a box after that post, but that's the only gear drop I've had since.

Assuming by gear drops that qualifies as anything, I had a couple of 'lucky' runs recently. I actually picked up 2 Stone Tortoise Shields and saw two others be claimed. This was just in the past 5 days also.

Owing to the lack of of Chroma or Emberbreak gear dropping I'd say it's definitely been toned down. I never though about it because I never had a use for all that stuff.

It does seem to have been nerfed. The January 5 release said there would be more gear drops, but I actually haven't gotten a single one since then, and I was used to getting at least one item a day, granted it was usually a Brandish or an Emberbreak Shield.
