Drop rate is fine. I realize the game is 13+, but if you get a job, you get enough money to buy rads to heat 1 5* item in 2-3 hours of work. And oet's be honest, you would waste a lot more than 2 hours trying to heat for free. D&N = 24 rads/15 mins, 19 runs (round up to 20) = 300 mins = 5 hours per item.
There is no point in trying to be the free to play 0v3rl0rD when you could get a job, waste less of YOUR time, and support OOO in the process. Win win.
Yeah guys, just pay 20 bucks every time you want to heat something... And I do mean 20 bucks = 7.5k ce, of which 6.3k is used for the crystals alone. That's right- heat 5 get one free.

I...don't know, buddy. Have you tried Mist Bombs? Have you realized that if you have to pay money to progress, that then it's kinda silly to even bother progressing because you have very little to do in a game if you care about progress?
Let's put it another way. If I all I care about is building an arsenal, is there any point in spending money to enhance may arsenal when that bypasses one of the greatest uses of said arsenal? (What use is that? Getting more gear for your arsenal!)
Basically, if you must funnel money into the game for all your equipment, why would it matter anymore!?

I'm all for thinking rationally about how you use your time. And I'm all for supporting Three Rings financially. But do you really regard playing Spiral Knights as a waste of time?
I mean, if you enjoy the act of playing Spiral Knights, then it's not a waste. And if you don't enjoy the act of playing Spiral Knights, then maybe you shouldn't be playing it, spending money on it, or interacting with it in any way.
