Sent a support thingy
A knight in my guild(not sure if they want to be named) was announcing that he would commit suicide yesterday, which left me extremely confused. He threatened to do it because he felt bullied by external people. Umm... He just logged on and said that his life was over and that everyone had left him.... then started talking about overdosing. I'm not sure if it is a joke or not, but if it is he needs help and if it isn't... he definitely needs help. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Give that player reassurance... There are always good things in life. Most suicidal people stick to a certain mindset. If those people could change their lifestyle, they could lose those thoughts. Trust me, I used to have the exact same feelings. That all changed when I changed my personality and identity.
Most suicidal people are teens - if that is the case for the player you are talking about, tell that player to calm down, take a deep breath, and be patient for life to resume. Most teens alter who they are in order to cope with the people around them. If, for example, you go to college from high school, you'll most likely end up altering who you are. In my case, I was depressed in middle school for a good 2-3 years. As soon as high school hit, I began changing who I was rather quickly. I was weird and awkwardly quiet in middle school, and quite the opposite in high school.
I hope that player doesn't have the guts to overdose.
Who? What? Where? When? Why? How? Are you able to answer those questions?
