First: Permanent ones... Probably really expensive. 50x the price here, except the Heat Amplifier.

Not sure about the heat and krogmo coin boosters though, just putting the prices out there if you decide they should be put there.

Maybe...:

Permanent Trinket Slot Upgrade: 7500 Energy

Permanent Weapon Slot Upgrade: 12500 Energy

Permanent Krogmo Coin Booster: 15000 Energy

Permanent Heat Amplifier: 40000 or 50000 Energy

Then - New upgrade usables, boosting Sprites slightly.

Allows you to very magically have your Sprites do things without you making an actual command, magically. (Allows you to use a sprite skill while still using a different action, e.g. charging a weapon or attacking. Sprite skill animation is still played if a sprite skill is used while not using a different action. Regular lasts for 30 days.)

Cost: 200 Energy

Permanent cost: 10000 Energy

well,

+1 to permanent slots
-1 to permanent boosters

The purpose of Heat and Coin boosts is to provide a temporary, but rewarding, increase. Create permanent krogmo boosts and you've got a more concrete Lockdown aristocracy

also, yes please to sprite attacks while shielding or charging.

We've talked about this, some of this, and in general I like it. Permanent krogmo boosters might not be the greatest idea because of how much certain players tend to play lockdown-- giving them of all people permanent boosters would serve to generate massive k-coin inflation, and so would have scary effects on the economy.

The sprite one looks questionable.. it sounds like it would make a better armor perk or something.

Everything else looks good. Permanent slots have been a long time coming, and a permanent heat amp would be never actually worth it but would be very nice to have all the same. I'd probably go for a permanent heat amp, if only to make any new sprites I attain level up faster.

3 new booster suggestions:
1. Free Krogmo Plays = coliseum fee is removed forever, 15,000 energy
2. Free Krogmo Bribes = Krogmo always starts with 10 energy in the bribe per player with this perk, 20,000 energy
3. No Auction House Tax = auction house fees do not apply to you. 1,500,000 CE

@six

auction house tax elimination costing 1 million CE is more than twice the price of a darkfang shield, nothanks. So -1 to that for pricing and practical reasons (further divides rich/poor gap).
+1 to krogmo bribes and pvp fee reductions though. maybe add those as timed usables?

Removing the auction house fee would permanently lower the cost of rarities on the auction house, since the players selling them would be the only ones that can buy the no auction house tax upgrade. It would also allow them to sell high end accessories, things of that nature, through the auctions without having to deal with the taxes.

We also need more energy sinks in game, since it's too easy for players to buy energy.

Crown sink removal is very bad. Crowns are unlimited, energy is limited. By taking away crown sinks that are in effect every day you are thus making energy more expensive. No to those.

I'm also going to say no to permanent slots. I've been against these for some time, simply because slots are the optional subscription model that Spiral Knights uses.

However, we only have a 30-day subscription to work with right now. What I've suggested for some time has been extended slots, costing less overall, but more up front. If you buy, say, a 90-day trinket slot, instead of paying 450 energy you might pay 428 energy - a 5% discount. 180 day trinket slot would be 810 energy - 10% off. 365 day slot would be 1530 energy - more than 15% off. Thus, these still expire over time, however you will often forget about slot upgrades when you have 365 days of slots to go, and if you get more slot upgrades in the meantime you can still put them to good use extending your upgrades.

This would give constant SK players the ability to purchase seemingly permanent slots, and at a slight discount, while not having the fees be horrendous.

Lastly, that sprite suggestion should just be a battle sprite thing in general. Being unable to command your battlesprite because you're required to point is kinda eh, and honestly takes a lot of fun out of having a drakon spit hot fire on the enemy you're clashing with.

1.5m energy? Thats a funny

1.5m energy?

Thats a funny joke, though the sad part is some people actually have that much. I don't see much benefit in removing AH tax, because nobody sells a enough items to justify that silly cost. For rarities, most people I know/see either buy rads straight up or farm D&N, and buy maybe 5 or 10 from AH to even out their crystal stock.

It may be viable at a lower price, but I am just not seeing its impact to be enough to justify it.

It wouldn't lower the price of rarities for the player buying the thing, but rather the entire playerbase- players buy rarities with energy and then auction them. Giving them a permanent buff would allow them to beat out others, and putting it at 1.5 m energy would put tremendous strain on the market, making the price of energy go way up.

Might wanna review the price

Might wanna review the price of these permanent upgrades (Permanent trinket having the cost of 50 single upgrades, which is 4 years worth of trinkets) but apart from that YES, YES and YES.

Wasting Breath Level +1

And forge passes needed to be a thing back in summer 2013.

But I'm still waiting on the employees to fix the pricing on heat doublers, since they're mostly worthless now. 'Cause charging 5000e for a 30 day heat doubler for something that isn't the paywall is totally legit. I see them end at 20kcr or less on auction house every time. It's these things which is why I rarely post legitimate suggestions anymore, and just grab popcorn buckets for the troll ones.

They're not going to do perma-trinkets slots, but I could see 6 month and 1 year passes theoretically. But I'll leave it at theoretical because the "should do" backlog has been sitting idle.
