After learning the fate of Alpha Squad, I've been inspired to write a one shot, but I really don't want to make up knights on my own.

The plot is SpiralHQ picks up a familiar distress signal inside The Core, but they can't decipher who it is, but they know it's one of the remaining members of Alpha Squad. Vaelyn is confident that it's Rulen, and asks for an escort to take her to the source of the signal. But Kora holds her back, telling her that she has done all she can for the moment, and her assistance is needed in Haven. But it's a undeniable fact that a squad must be sent down to The Core to investigate the signal.

That's all I'm going to say on the plot publicly, I don't want to spoil the entire thing.

A Skype isn't necessary but it is helpful! I'd be able to contact you and ask you questions of how your knight would react in x situation. If you want to be the leader of the squad, a Skype is necessary at that point as I will need to discuss some plot lines with you in private. Why 2 slots itsead of 1? It clearly should be 1. Since you didn't do it then you probably declined somebody.

Correction

Before I posted the update, 2 spots were already occupied, they are occupied by me and someone else. You know who you are. Which is why the initial title of this thread was "SK One Shot { Apps Open, 3 slots available! }". That doesn't mean I am making myself the leader of the party, it could be someone completely different. It depends what applications come in.

There are still 2 spots open, and I'll review Limi's application tomorrow when I have a little more daylight to burn. Sorry for the confusion.

I read the message when I entered Haven garden for giveaway. I am honestly disappointed and tired that my requests ARE BEING DECLINED all the freaking time from fanfics. My fanfics are lame, my character apps are declined, maybe I should quit the Treasure Vault and spend my time at Off Topic since my creativity leads to hate?! Maybe I should quit the whole forum?!

Anyways, you shouldn't really. I am sensitive and general disturbance often leads to anger.

Regarding your mail, you shouldn't restrict to Defender Elite as other players often want to have theirself in the fanfic, just like me.

No idea if hate you or still be friends...

And Matikclocker, I am not declining you all the time. The way you phrased that makes it sound like I've rejected multiple applications from you, when in fact I've rejected just the one. That's...a little rude...

More to the point, I am not restricting anything, I am trying to stay accurate. It may seem like I'm restricting, but it's the gift and a curse of being a writer. Whenever I write something, I want to be as accurate as possible, the more facts I can get about something the better. It's not because "I hate this person because of x" or "I don't like this character because they're using y". And, I was thinking of asking you again when I completed this one shot to appear in another of my stories.

But I've been rejected from many other fanfics before. Oh wait, it was once.
Once from Magmaul-Ace: it was too much "out there"

And I don't remember any other. I know that it was a bit rude, but how? I thought that I remember other fanfics... I'm sorry if you felt offended, just this Defender Elite player rank requirement. Alchemy Orb drop rates block me off from road to Defender Elite.

Anyways, I will just sit there and look at this fanfic. I'm sure it will be interesting.

Uh... I stopped using Skype a long while ago, so I guess my only means of PM would be in-game massages. Anyways, if you do accept my app, I wouldn't want to know about the situations that the knights might run into, I feel it would ruin the story for me. ^^' Sooo, I add an extra section that talks about the character's personality. If you need to change something in his personality to better suit the story, then it's fine by me. :p

Additional info~

He has a laid-back attitude, which could be a little misleading. Although he is friendly and someone who likes to relax, he has no problem becoming angry and aggressive.

He has a decent sense of humor, although it isn't the nicest at times; he tends to be sarcastic and quite rude, often teasing others over minor issues. He has a few moments of honesty, which is usually when he is in deep trouble or sticky situations.

He is a capable fighter and can form good strategies on the fly. Despite that, his leadership skills aren't so great; he tends to focus mainly on himself and his friends, usually forgetting about people he dislikes or those that seem unreliable. He also isn't all that great in organizing a full party, which is why he likes to work with one person by his side. He can be a good person to discuss tactics with and maybe a last-ditch leader.

He has no problem following orders, however, when a tactic seems flawed or an order just looks bizarre, he would just refuse to follow unless convinced otherwise.

@Lang-Dulynx I will contact you in-game as that has worked out with me in the past.

Once I review all applications and notes that I've made I'll start writing the story. I'd like it to be up sometime mid-March, but I can't make any promises as I have two full time jobs and volunteer work to attend to.

To someone who is trying to apply and blasting through the comments and they see that, it looks like that I've rejected you more than once, which I haven't. I've gotten over it by now, and again I'm just trying to stay accurate. I'm sorry if it feels that way. And, as I said before, I'm thinking of writing another story when this one is finished and I was thinking of asking you if you were still interested in appearing in a fan fiction.

Update!

Has this project been abandoned? Absolutely not, no sir!

It's probably a question that has been on everyone's mind, and I'm pleased to say that this one shot has not been abandoned! The delays started with my sister's big move, and then that same sister had a bad breakup and had to move again, and when things were taken to court I got the lovely job of playing referee before she said something she would regret.

The story itself is about 25% complete, and I haven't been able to get back to it after the St. Patty's Day incident at work. I'll try my best to work on it whenever I have a spare moment.

Thank you for your time and patience and I'll post another update when something important has happened.
