The Cat Tail images are all in different positions. Is it possible to make them all be in the same position?

What's the best tool to make gifs with? I currently use gyazo, but it's really only good for images. It's gifs are fairly low quality. What do you use to make high quality gifs, like this?

I spent hours getting them as close as I could. Without spiral spy and/or excessive editing, making them all the same position might take years. The silver lining to this is that they show users the accessory moves, even without an animation.

Do not make gifs. Make APNGs. Gifs are very low quality, as you've stated. For a few things we have to use gifs, such as weapon demonstrations that are just too huge to upload due to the file size limit. APNGs tend to be too large, which is why a few tooltip rotations seem "framey." In exchange, we have high quality color.

There is a tooltip animation guide outlined by ThePC in the Style Guide.

For overworld - don't film yourself walking, the screen moves with you. Film someone else with the item, while not moving yourself at all.

Yeah... How to make an APNG?

By "gif", I generally meant "animation", including both gifs and APNGs. Should have said "animation" instead.

So how do I make an APNG?

Where's the Style Guide? I searched that and found nothing.

And I don't plan to do things like aura previews, the walking gif was made just to show that gyazo's animations weren't high quality like all the APNG animations on the wiki.

Navigation!

Style guide is in "navigation" panel right under the search/go bar on wiki. It's in a special namespace, so searching for it with standard parameters won't make it show up.
