UltraLucian, can you have your friend verify his account for the forums and start talking to us directly? If he has made a character, his login information should be viable on the forums. We need more information about his computer.
Have your friend uninstall Spiral Knights and all versions of Java and then reinstall the newest Java and THEN Spiral Knights. Order of installation is important.
