Yesterday night, I was playing SK fine, until it stopped launching correctly this morning. I'm trying to log onto my SK on the actual SK window, (not steam) and it freezes for about a minute, and informs me that it failed to connect to the server, and this happens every time I try to log on.
I don't know what went wrong, I restarted my Macbook Pro, and I installed a new version of SK, and still nothing.

*edit*
After many failed attempts of logging on, it now does not freeze, instead it just tells me it fails to connect to the server after every time I click the log on button.

The same thing is happening to me right now, and while I can't say it happened to me last night because I logged off around 6 pm, I did have some problems with being dropped from games when I was logged in at that time.

SK servers having problems with logins

In particular, trying to go to Haven by any means (clicking "go to Haven, exiting a mission) now often results in a black screen which hangs around for multiple minutes and longer than I am willing to wait around for before ending the java task.

Logging in with a second account to see if it was perhaps just a problem specific to the first reveals that state of logins seems to be quite delayed. Characters for which no SK client is active are shown as online.

It's just a guess, but perhaps SK's servers are overloaded with people logging in for free stuffs. Here's hoping something can be done to allow those of us who would like to actually play to do so.

yep I am having this exact issue, yesterday was working fine, now today every time i try to go into Haven my screen goes black

Seems fixed as of this writing

I've been able to complete several missions and return to Haven multiple times with no more than the typical short delay. Looks like whatever was broke got fixed!
