I do not see a demand for this, and I'm not sure if it would enhance the gameplay in any way, but I think it would be cool. I do not think this should be added to the game, I just think it's a cool idea. The design would be very similar to the Wrench Wand, but instead of the wrench with the crystal at the top, a disk would be there, with six tubes leading out of it. Each of the tubes would represent a status condition (e.g. bubbles coming out of one tube for poison, fire coming out of another). It would deal normal or elemental damage (or both). It would have around the same attack speed at a brandish, but a much lower attack power. This is because of the status effects it can deal. With each strike, it has a slight chance of dealing Shock, Curse, Poison, Freeze, Fire, or Stun. I am unsure what the charge attack would be.
See we sort of already have this idea in the sealed sword line. No-one is really against randomized status on a charge attack, but on basic attacks nah.
Charge attack-wise randomized status would be really interesting, since status isn't 100% and the status wouldn't be something you can spam to get what you want, it would be alright.
But at the end of the day are you suggesting another 2* or 3* gimmick weapon? Gimmick weapons really can do whatever they want, so as long as they aren't too powerful it should be fine.
